Did it myself outside in the snow... lol.

Vht nightshade and duplicolor ceramic clear coat. 23.00 for everything at O'rileys.

3 coats of each 5 mins apart.

I did tape off the reverse lights so I could actually see backing up.

 

I had them on a piece of cardboard in direct sunlight and then brought them in the house after the final coat of clear.

 

This is my first time clearing over spray tint and it appears to work nice.

As you can see they don't look so flat.

 

I have a 16 duramax and a G8 GT that have just the spray and I'm going to pull those off, re-spray and add clear.

They are 10.5” from the very bottom of the step.

Agreed.  I just was just too indecisive.   I was gonna install them at home, but finally decided to bring the steps to work and put them on.  Took longer to unwrap them from the bubble wrap than to install them with some help and a lift.

I’m gonna have to tint those mirror lights.  I’ve never used them and don’t remember ever missing the on past vehicles, they don’t come on in Drive so I think I’m gonna put some fairly dark clear tint.

Picked up a Sierra Dash off eBay. This one has HUD in it along with the harness so I can begin some R&D i plan to integrate HUD into my truck
