Interesting! Haven’t towed yet. I wonder if it is indeed just the 2020s or if maybe they did us 2019 guys a favor and included it. Wishful thinking!

Good question, I’m not sure on that one. I have a 2020 3500 now but had a 2019 1500 before this, I never did tow anything with the 1500 when I had it though.

I had a 19 and no it did not turn the camera on (with turn signal) when trailering.

Is it a 7 ping you have plugged in for it to detect? I am not sure why this is not enabled by default.

It should be any of the trailer plugs. I recently hooked up a 4-pin and it activated it.

I read through about 7 pages and didn't see this, but has anyone else noticed (I have a 2020 sierra SLT) the parking brake automatically engaging if the tuck rocks hard enough. I just bought the truck at the end of April and I have noticed it do it twice while climbing in and out of the bed of the truck on the multipro tailgate.   Thought that was pretty cool feature if that is indeed the case.  This is with the truck off too when it has happened to me.  (And no, its not the fuel pump priming that I'm hearing.  Its for sure the brake). 

 

Never mind!  I finally found where it was mentioned on an earlier page.  Just consider this a refresher I guess.

Here is another cool feature I found. I'm sure its been mentioned, but didn't want to dig through 30 pages looking for it.

 

 If you are plugging up your phone to use apple car play or android auto, you can plug in your cable inside the console and run your cable out under the console handle. They left room for your cables.  The will keep it cleaner and less cables in the way of your cupholders and stuff.

My first post here.

Just bought a 2020 and needed to hard wire my radar detector. Right (PS) side of dash has a fuse block. Found several 1/4" spade type male connectors here.. Most were 12Volt's DC(+) constant battery powered, but found one that was ignition controlled. Used a push on 1/4" female insulated connector with inline fuse (+) and grounded (-) to the metal support brace that was there and now my radar detector turns on only when the truck is running.Tucked the wire up into front of headliner and down right (PS) A-Pillar.
