MDSilveradoGuy Posted August 14, 2019 Posted August 14, 2019 www.lemonlaw.com This whole engineering denial of replacing parts business rather than listening to the dealerships who are actually working on the vehicle needs to stop. In the end, it's costing them more money and customers.

Unless there is zero chance it will rain. You don't want a water damaged interior. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk They told me they didn't want to be responsible for "phantom damage" that sometimes occurs while vehicles are in the shop. So, off I went in my NOT fixed truck waiting for them to call me back in once the sealant arrives. It's Kent P10200. I found it on Kent's website for $15. I was just going to buy a tube of it and take it to the dealer and tell them to fix my truck, but it's not currently in stock. Wonder what's up with that? Ugh...
ShamrockShooter Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 Supposedly mine will be ready tomorrow morning but the replacement rear spoiler is not available so I will have to go back in once that comes in. They put the old spoiler back on for now. Something about gm telling them to replace rear brake light spoiler because it has been removed several times now and could leak in the 4 mount holes even though there does not appear to be anything wrong with my current spoiler.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk
fieldsend Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 Its been about a week since the first repair attempt on my rear window. Went to the automatic car wash and noticed a drip coming from the rear slider channel. I will be dropping it off tomorrow morning for attempt #2... 1

I'm still waiting on the sealant to come in for my first attempt at repair.

As of right now this is only my second visit so I am not near a lemon law. I still love my truck. If they end up replacing my rear window in a timely manner then I have no complaints.
ShamrockShooter Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 This is what 33 days and three attempts to seal it looks like. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk 1

ShamrockShooter Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 Sorry to see that, I wouldnt let that dealership work on my bicycle. Yeah my truck qualifies for lemon law so that is my last resort if they don't fix this correctly. It's definitely going back.Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Smitty Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 If they can't make it look like factory new when you get it, I'd be throwing a fit for a replacement truck! Good luck, I"m sorry you have to go through that. Smitty
UGADawgs Posted August 16, 2019 Posted August 16, 2019 That's some crap right there brother. I'd be on someone at GM.
