Has anyone personally installed the gm factory exhaust.  Im going to purchase next month but considering installing myself. Wondering how difficult it is.

Be sure to post up a video when you get it installed. Curious to see how this sounds on the new one.

Almost all the aftermarket exhausts install the same. Find one video from any of them and you should be set.

Wow, very different look with the painted fender flares. I kinda like it.

Got my exhaust installed yesterday. A little louder than what I was expecting. Has a great sound. Hoping it will tone down a little. A little bit of drone but not terrible. Have emailed Borla ti see which muffler this is, was under the impression it was the touring muffler but want to make sure

I also installed on my AT4 6.2 along with the CAI.  Sounds much better, have not noticed a drone at all.  Between the two truck is more responsive and sounds great.

It will not get any quieter with time. If anything it will get a smidge louder. Pull it back off now before you get miles on it if you are able to return it.

It didn't cost anything so I'm gonna keep it a little longer. I like the stainless pipes. I may down the road try a couple of different mufflers. Thanks

Rduatctt, What do you use the roof rack for, snowboards? Looks pretty cool paint matched like that, although drilling holes in the roof of a brand new $70,000 truck would give me nightmares. I am so anti-drilling new trucks that I use electrical tape to mount my aux switches hahaha. Very nice ride, I am in the process of painting my K2 AT's flares to match for this summer when she comes out of hibernation. I have them sanded to where I am happy, now I need adhesion promoter and some Onyx black paint.

Nothing, I just have put them on all of my trucks since 2010. I think it breaks up the large roof.
