You may want to see if there is a shop around that has a good aftermarket setup. Might be a good route too, they’ve had a lot of time to make things for the K2 platform.

How about till you get a camera you don’t park in a spot with a car in front of you since you apparently never learned how to park...

AND REMEMBER OBJECTS IN CAMERA ARE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR...

Maybe you should do a front parking sensor retrofit on your truck while your at it...

You can also get an HMI unlock and simply wire it in with a switch between front and rear.

i dont whack the shit out of peoples cars, i just lightly tap the fuking bumpers cause they look further away or I'll tap parking lot signs... It's the design of the hood, how it bends down up front, and the bumper protrudes out , it's got a bit of an illusion to it..

Are you notifying those you "tap" due to your inability to park?  Someone recently "tapped" my wife's Audi, doing $1000 in damage.  At least that person was kind enough to let her know...

So pulling into tight parking spots at the mall, I find i'm always hitting cars in front of me as i park, the way they designed the front hood makes the truck look further away from objects when parking....

I would appreciate a link or info and part numbers from the higher end model like the LTZ , so that I can purchasing OEM camera, harness, to tap into my 8" monitor..

Thanks guys!

I assume you're notifying everyone you hit? If not you're a prick for that and should step slowly away trucks. Judgement isn't that hard. You don't have to be right up against someone

You never answered when asked about notifying owners of the vehicles you "tap" and your reply of "hahaha" is not a bit funny. If I saw you hit my vehicle and walk off because you just assumed it caused no damage to a sensor or something (and it doesn't really matter if no damage was done) we'd have a discussion, that much I can guarantee.

you know its funny ,cause you guys give me more shit about tapping a parked car in a parking lot,  but in another thread on this forum. One of the members is a Police officer, and he managed to let some punks steal his handgun out of his truck at a sporting-goods shop, yet I don't hear anyone giving him shit for being an incompetant firearms owner, lol

I got the one from adcmobile that you linked. I got the front and 2 side cameras. I like it, you can set the front to come on at low speed.

Well man, that old saying two wrongs don’t make a right comes to mind...I haven’t seen that thread so hard to comment on that. If he had it in an unlocked vehicle then yep, bad on him. You probably opened yourself up to the ribbing when you said you do it all the time. Gotta give ya credit for admitting something like that lol

Yikes, I think like a lot of people on this site, if you hit my truck things wouldn't go so well for you. I also think that the hoods are designed very well and you look closer to things than you are. I also had a level on my 2015 so that could have been why. I have owned 2 sierras, 2015 and now 2018 and have never had an issue hitting anything (other than the guy that ran a red light and totaled my 15). Be more careful.

With that said I attached the link for the camera that I will be adding to mine when the weather warms up. It should be plug and play and there are some pages about people doing it, so it isn't hard.

I second the front park sensors if you have rear sensors adding front is not bad and worth it if your tapping cars. Just a thought you have a backup camera why not just back in the spots?
