2018 z71 silverado vs 2018 all terrain

I don't know if it has the 8 speed or not. If it does what's the problem with it. ?

It is hit or miss but the track history isn't the greatest and there are many issues. Some people had it re flashed with latest update, or new converter, new trans, just a flush, to new wire harness.
This is going to boul down to what you use the truck for.

I’m in the minority, but the Ltzs are the better looking truck to me. However, I would say it depends on your budget and family priorities. $8,000 and having to run premium gas adds up over the years.... I’ve had ventilated seats before and the only time i used them was when i left the heated seats on too long....

I really like the chevy. Just trying to justify the money. It's roughly 100 more a mo payment.

I was pretty set on a Sierra AT when I was looking. Realized that you couldn’t get one with vented seats and started looking at other options. Ended up with the LTZ Silverado and haven’t regretted it. The only way to get vented seats and painted bumpers on a Sierra is to go with a Denali.

I myself was set on. All terrain until I saw a Z71 on stock 22's and love it.

I would go with the Sierra. 5.3 runs good and I think the all terrain looks great. Plus I really like the all terrain wheels.

Is 14500 off the Silverado a killer deal ? Same with the at. 14k off. Or can I press them for more.

I don't think you'll do any better.

They are both pretty good deals.

The 2018 leftover stock is dwindling too . Lots of LT All-stars left not many loaded LTZ's. See if you can't get them to throw in a bed cover too.

If you’re really getting 14k off either truck that’s about as good as it’s going to get. What I mean is a lot of dealers will show you discounts that hardly anybody qualifies for.

Look up Laura Chevy and then Laura GMC two different dealers same owner St. Louis area. There are guys from all over the country that only buy trucks from them as they are usually (not always) the low price leader. The price on the site is what you pay period + 2 or 3 hundred what ever their dealer fee is. Use their prices as a guide. I would have bought mine from them but they didn’t have they Chevy dealership at the time and I live a good 6 hours North of them.

The other thing is if you sit on the pot to long waiting to save every last nickel somebody else is going to drive away with which ever truck you wanted.

Are there going to be some absolutely incredible deals on new Chevy & GMC in the next year especially crew diesels and double cabs of course as lots are full of these and soon you’ll have 018s 019s and 2020 HDs on the lots. When prices drop usually the trucks with more options go first because they are the most discounted leaving the less popular optioned trucks. Perfect example try to find a well optioned 2500HD gasser they have already been picked over.

jezz i just looked at laura.... 2019 rst z71 silverado 13k off sticker.... brings it down to 41k....... they gotta do better on the 18's

They can sit on them until they all sell. 14 G off is about the best you do. Go buy one.

i wouldn't pay the extra for the brake kit. Stock brakes are good enough for every day use. Ventilated seats are nice but depending where you live they may not be useful. 6.2 is an unbelievably powerful and efficient motor and the 8 speed is fine. I'd be wary of a 19 since it's a first year model with the possibility of more recalls and repairs than the 18 down the road.

Hmm interesting. Service bulletins claims and forums would suggest otherwise. But again for the ones that dodge the bullet and theirs work I'm sure agree and share your option. The 6.2 is good. But unbelievably powerful. Dyno suggests the different isn't that great, rather the power as you call if is the tune and more so the torque management tables.
I will bet cash, a stock 5.3 vs stock 6.2 if the 5.3 was tuned would bet the 6.2 more so if the 6.2 is 8speed. So if thousands can be saved I say go for it. Now like anything some people want to just pay the monthly and call it good so that is why this world has options from the dealer with that motor.
And as far as best deal there are different prices for the same truck even same vin in different zip. I got $30k off. And buddy's f350 lifted on wheels got little under 20k off. No dealer could touch the prices.
