I’m curious how does the factory 2” lift the rear? If it’s just a 2” block couldn’t that be replaced with a 1” block (or removed altogether) so you sit more level? i mean I feel like that would be the easiest solution instead of trying to raise the front even more

Some people have done this, but I’m guessing that would void the warranty after the GM lift

You can do whatever you want - you're 2WD!  ?

So the problems people are having is with the 4wd

Since my motofab 1.5" touched the CV boot (LTZ, Z71, Dmax), I am going to try to do a 1" since I only have a 1 3/8" rake on one side and 1 1/2" on the other.  1/2" rake left would be good for me.  Hopefully the slight difference in spacer thickness will suffice, if not, I may clearance "notch" the lower loop on the shock mount...I am running 20x9 0 offset Hostile wheels with Nitto Duras 275/60/20...

Do you have pics of how close the CV boot is? I have a 1.5” MF kit to install but now am worried about it causing issues. Thanks

I went to have the 1.5” Motofab put on a few weeks ago and my mechanic called and told me he wouldn’t do it. I trust him and I am now going with the Eibach RHA struts. Not only will it level the truck but also improve the ride. Win win in my eyes.

It was not close, it actually touched the second "wrinkle" of the cv boot.  I watched it just barely rub along it as I turned the rotor.  Granted this was with the truck on the jack but still...I have the 1" Motofab on the way atm and will make it work regardless until I decide to go to the Fox 2.0 C/O option.  Main reason I am not already is because I think the Fox will make me nose high and then I would have to do a 1" block in the rear and I am trying to stay very mild with how high I go because I like this 25-27mpg stuff lol.

Fox 2.0’s shouldn’t add any lift. Pretty much plug and play with factory heights

What part numbers are you ordering?  I am also interested in full C/O replacement but I do not want more than 1.5" lift...

Call Fox and look up their part number released 2 weeks ago.  adds 1.5-2" lift just as the King 2.5s do...

They are 0-2”

Here’s their catalog. IMO id wait till mid May for the release of the 2.5’s for the 19-20 GM models.

I called and spoke to Fox already,  I have the part numbers.  I have always ran the King 2.5s in the past and have them on all 4 corners of my wife's tahoe.  Wanted to go with a little bit cheaper option this time around.

Installed the MotoFab 2.5 F&R this weekend.  Install went smooth, however now there is a bang in the right rear after you hit a large bump or speed bump.  Any ideas, Gonna pull it in after work and check bolts.

Had this same problem with the 1.5”. Got my money back and ordered up a 1”.
