I recently purchased the rough country 2.5in lift and 33in  BFG all terrains for my 2016 Silverado about 15k after my lift install I developed a noise from the front driver side suspension and the noise is noticeable on rough terrain at slow speeds or anything other than smooth pavement a local shop couldn’t find anything wrong with it any advice is needed for an example it sounds like there is play in the strut but the shop I took it to checked all the bolts

my first guess would be the strut nut not being tight enough. Had the same issue. Squeak at slower speeds/bumps. Hit that nut with an impact and all is well.

Mine is doing this as well, but I have added stuff that might also be involved.

Rosco... You mean the top but on the strut or the three that mount the assembly?

yes, on the strut itself. I recently put on a set of Bilsteins and guessing it wasnt torqued enough, came loose.

Does anyone know what they need to be torqued to? I stuck a jack under the lower control arm today and it will squeak until the tire comes off the ground then it stops it’s really weird it’s driving me absolutely nuts the passenger side isn’t doing it
