Tonneau cover for CarbonPro??

Hi guys, new to the forum, have my 2020 AT4 carbon pro being delivered next week. With that I inquired with the dealer on tonneau cover options and the only one they provided was the $600 folding soft GM one. I ended up getting it for $400 with a Costco discount deal on the truck purchase, however they wanted $170 for installation. Seeing as I have a lot of time at home right now, I’m going to save the money and tackle it myself. Any tips/suggestions on installing the GM one? If it’s a pain, is it worth $170 for the install?

Bought the LOMAX tri-fold hard cover for my 2020 Denali Carbon Pro and can honestly say I don’t like it. It showed up with scratches on the rails, no installation instructions at all, and doesn’t sit flush which will result in serious water leaking issues. Overall, it doesn’t look good when compared to my bakflip fiber-max I had previously on my 2016 F150. It has some very sharp edges that should have been rounded off during production and just seems flimsy. I paid over $900.00 shipped for this crap cover and regret buying it. I really hope decked produces a system for the carbon pro trucks, that’s really what I wanted and can honestly say I regret buying this carbon pro edition due to the limited bed accessories that are, and will be, available.

WOW....I almost pulled the trigger on that till I saw the clamp option so I hope the Rolver works out better. I'm with you on the Decked system. Been bugging them to come out with one on their IG page. LOL

Lomax makes a hard cover tonneau cover for the carbon pro just put one on my AT4.

WeatherTech released their own hard cover tonneau for the carbon pro, it looks very similar to the Lomax posted above. Mine just came today and I'm super happy with it, definitely nicer in my opinion when compared to the OEM soft cover.

Hey Shawn, can you post some pics? I just bought the 2020 Sierra carbon pro and the dealership bought a tonneau cover from undercover without knowing it won't fit. I don't want to do any mods to the truck so I'd appreciate any pics of the gm hard fold one.

Sorry to jumping into conversations; however, I just want to let you know that the GM cover will required you to drill to install the clamps. If you want no modification to the CarbonPro bed, you might want to consider clamps from MWW1 and look at the BAKFlip covers as an option. I installed a BAK RevelvorX4 on my CarbonPro and the fit is perfect.

Has your cover been water tight? Make a drive across a rainy pass in the fall and would like the bed to stay mostly dry.

Looks like the Weathertech and Lomax hard covers are identical. I saw the concern about scratching with the Lomax. Not sure if it was the urethane coated cover or the plain paintable cover.

Can't decide weather to be patient and see what else comes out for the carbon pro or pull the trigger on the OEM, Lomax or try to adapt one of the other covers you talented people have installed. Hate drilling too many holes in the bed because usually my projects involve oops missed by that much.

Access made a nice soft cover kit. Easy to install and no holes cut in the box. You have to drill holes for 1/4” bolts on to pass through the plastic cap and it comes with a drilling jig so we don’t mess it up.

We haven't had a lot of rain here to determine the water tightness. I did look from to indise and sealed any sections that had any light coming through. The back of the tailgate had some seapage but nothing drastic that concerned me after washing my truck. Overall, I am very happy with it.
