New "Top Notch" interiors?

I feel lucky because I love my truck inside and out. I am just bummed that I must put a topper on it. Very bummed. However its a necessity for bird hunting with friends and dogs. Ordered it last week. I know once its on, my bed will be much more user friendly. Always had them and always will. The seats are comfortable and the steering/handling is tight and right. No reason to complain at all. Of course I built mine around the drive train and the 6.2/10 is SWEET!

I am sick of hearing RAM has the best interior.  I suppose for a mall crawler in Florida they are the best.  Try using any of the touch screen stuff while wearing gloves.  I really like the interior of my '19 coming from a '13.  Huge improvement.

why are you wearing gloves inside your truck?

Michigan winter.  When I use my  truck for working and I am in and out a lot.  I do not remove my gloves every time.

GM actually set themselves up for some future success with this new platform. The changes needed to make this interior class-leading aren't all that substantial. It's the most functional interior of any truck, IMO, so they just need to jazz it up a bit. Pretty simple.

Oh yes I'm very well aware of winter my friend. But I'm not fiddling with my touchscreen (which the chevy has too btw). My thermostat and lights are all automatic, and I can still put it in gear with my gloves on. If it's a longer ride or commute, the gloves come off and I enjoy a nice coffee, heated seats and heated steering wheel.

If you're working and getting in and out, what are you fidgeting with?

While their at it, make the 10 speed tranny standard on the 5.3 and up the screen size to 12” like RAM and future Ford’s, at least make it optional. Don’t forget adaptive cruise control. Also, put back all the decontented items that were on the K2’s.

I’m sorry, I did get rid of my ram for issues but those that don’t think the RAM interior on the 19 is incredible are insane.  That is the nicest interior in a truck ever.  The console is just great.  It has tons of useful space.  Has incredible phone holder in the front near the charging ports and has wireless charging.  The seats are comfortable.  The rear seats recline and have heated and cooled.  They did an incredible job.  Has usb c and a charging ports.  4 in front combined and 4 in rear combined as well it has a great single usb in the center console under the lid section.

I do hope gm brings a new interior because that is the only thing I see that needs to be addressed.  Ram forced ford into a refresh sooner than they wanted.  Gm is losing ground quickly in trucks.  Nothing makes them more money than trucks so you better believe they are on notice.

Tilt steering in the new trucks is my pet peeve. As others have said for $70,000 you would expect power tilt with memory. I have no issues though with the rest of the interior.

I am glad that the 2020's get the full range of engines in the Chevys.

How long til Chevy can get the GMC tailgate. That will be a add on in the future. Or maybe a black market item. I am sure it won't be long until someone on here swaps a GMC tailgate onto his Chevy. Keep your eyes on the Auto Wrecker websites for tailgates.

I have zero issues with my '19 interior. The seats, although more firm than my '15, are quite comfy and the heated and ventilation is much improved as well.

You almost feel it immediately as opposed to the old generation. I know hands down the Ram may be flashier but it doesn't bother me. Deal sealer was when I had a loaner 2018 LT while my truck was in the shop. The whole time I was driving it, I missed the interior and features of my '19. This is just my honest opinion and in no way criticizing any of the other generations or models.

Why did GM get rid of AC seats in 2016 and up? Now only ventilated. Because AC seats Dumped heat on rear passengers? Cost cutting?
