Sierra Denali Ultimate pre-production wheels

Hey all,

Had noticed early on that the Denali Ultimate pre-production truck they used at the T1 reveal had different style wheels than what ended up being used on the 19's. Even the renders they used originally showed the different wheels but then later they edited them everywhere and never saw the wheels again. The Order Guide mentions the wheels changing on the Denali Ultimate for 2020, and now looking at GMC.com the original wheels they showed off to begin with are replacing the 19's. FYI for those looking to get a Denali and prefer either the 19's or 20's wheels as both are pretty different imo. Guessing they had some last minute problem and had to change what wheels were used when 19 production started and now using the wheels they originally planned on.

In addition to the 22" SMF included with the Denali Ultimate or the Denali Premium package there are a least 6  other 22" wheel options for 2020,

PEC         Denali Ultimate Package, includes (CWM) Technology Package, (PDJ) Driver Alert Package II, (CF5) sunroof, (BRS) GMC MultiPro Power Steps, (SFE) wheel locks, LPO and (SMF) 22" multi-dimensional polished aluminum wheels
1 - Requires 4WD model, (L87) 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 engine or (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine and (XCE) 275/50R22SL all-season, blackwall tires. 2WD models require (LM2) Duramax 3.0L Turbo-Diesel I6 engine and (XCE) 275/50R22SL all-season, blackwall tires. Included with (PCP) Denali CarbonPro Edition. NOTE: (SMF) 22" multi-dimensional polished aluminum wheels can be upgraded to (SEV), (SF0), (SEW), (SEU), (SHD) or (SGM) 22" LPO wheels.

Looks like all except the SMF can also be ordered for non-denali sierra.

Denali Carbon Pro package comes with SGM 22" highgloss black wheels.

GM has been known to, and usually says so in the fine print, have optional equipment on product photos and display vehicles at shows.

Good post!

So looks like the 19's Q7L that's on the Ultimate Package now gets replaced with SMF for the 20's. And the Q7L gets new RPO code SEU and made a LPO option.

19 Q7L

Hard to tell from the pics, but they may have changed something on the wheel and decided that required a different rpo code.
