We kept ours from our 2010 crew, and now, we were given one with our new 2019 Z71 LT1.....forgot to ask for it, but found it in the glove box anyway !!

I kept mine. Probably for sentimental reasons. Like others keep the first shoes from their kids lol.

Yup. Keep em even after trading in. If I sold my truck privately I’d probably give it to the new owner but otherwise I don’t care.

I do, helped get me an extra $3000 once when trading a vehicle.  The dealer was adamant that our Volvo didn’t have a couple options, pulled out the window sticker, no more arguing.  I am sure it was all part of the usual dealer BS but that ended it quickly.

I kept mine. If you don't tell the dealer, some stumblebum will throw it away during prep.

I forgot to ask the dealer for it, and when it went around to detailing I guess they threw it out I wish I had it though.

Have them from each of the trucks plus the wife's ride(Her first new vehicle).

I have heard on here that they can get you a new one.

 

Try a PM to GM customer service on the site here, and have your VIN handy as they will need it.
