2019 versus 2020 differences

One change that I think is a negative is removing the lock buttons on the rear doors. The 2019s have them on all 4 doors. The 2020 only on the front doors.
 

That sucks.  I use the rear locks all the time.

I believe it's just on the lower trims. My SLT has all 4.

I noticed in the build system you can now get a block heater - didn't see that on the 19s

for 2020 AT4 it comes with black at4 emblems and black exhaust tips. I think its hit or miss though ive seen some guys that have it and some 2020s that dont.. must be after a certain build date not sure

I believe that is an option from GM now. I can't remember where I saw it but, was select able as black emblems for an extra charge. $150 I think.

So it's not standard then? Wonder if they have part numbers available for the exhaust tips and emblems

The black badges and tips are only for the carbon pro package I believe, not all 2020 at4

Emblem 84364356 as far as I can tell it's a genuine GM part.

Thanks but I was referring to the actual at4 emblem not the gmc one! It is nice that they sell the black gmc one though

Well that clears the confusion. I've not seen a black AT4 emblem. Only the GMC script ones.

That appears to be correct. LTZ and High Country still have them.

I just went to order a 2020 AT4 in Smokey Quartz and they tell me it's been discontinued. Anybody hear that?

Block heaters have been an option available for decades now.  My 2001 Sierra and both my 2016 and 2019 Silverados all came with a factory block heater.  The 2019 and newer block heaters have a cord you plug in down by the tow hook, vs running a plug out from the engine compartment.
