Google maps with Carplay

Can anyone tell me if the new 2020 (or older) YukonXL, does the Apple Carplay cast Google Maps onto the screen?  I've read that it only plays with Apple Maps.  thx

Yes it does perfectly.
You can use Google Maps or Waze.

2016+ have got Apple CarPlay

2017+ they’ve added AndroidAuto
