I bought a 2020 GMC 2500HD Denali a couple days ago.  LOVE it.  I upgraded from an F-150 that I was using to tow a 29' travel trailer.  Anyways, I have a TST 507 TPMS that I was using to monitor the temperature and pressure on my trailer.  My truck did not come with any tire pressure sensors.  I read in another thread that you can use any sensors that are on 433 MHz and mine are.  I can't find any other info about it though.  The dealer wants like $300 for the sensors even though it's a $50 option online.  Does anybody know if I can just use my existing sensors?  I've read that you can use the app to set these up.

I don’t know if any others will work but, I did talk to my local dealer about this cuz I noticed most dealers aren’t ordering the option. They quoted me 72$ for four sensors and you have them installed at a local tire shop. You may want to look around maybe your dealer is just price gouging.

I used a set of gm sensors from an older truck ($25 on ebay). I have the tool and programed them myself after having a tire shop install them.

this is the part number from one of the tpms from the truck..this is what is included with the truck if your dealership ordered it correctly...you can see the frequency right on it.  tomorrow morning i am pulling my trailer to discount tire to have them installed so i can program them to the truck...i bought a set of 4 of these on fleabay for 50 bucks so not to bad of a price.  in my case i am getting 4 sets since i own several large trailers i want to monitor...as for programming them you do not require a special tool to program them..

I ordered a set with the truck which was made to order, cost was $55, then decided to get a set for a 2nd trailer, dealer ordered thru the parts department and charged me $55.  Dealer installed at no charge. Great dealership.

Did the aftermarket sensors in 433mhz work with the trailer app for TPMS?

Seems to be the same instructions as the 2020 owners manual.

(Starts on page 311 of the sierra version.)

Is anyone running there tires at 110psi and using the TPMS to monitor there trailer tires? Can you only set the pressure on the trailer tire app to 100psi? If so can you set the low limit to 100psi and top to N/A?

Thanks

I run them on my G rated trailer tires. The highest you can set them is 100 PSI  I figured that would still work if they notified me below 100 it still should  be  time to pull over before a blow out. They also give tire temp.

does anyone know what the diameter of the stem on the supplied ones from GM Measure (.433 or .625 diameter at sealing point). Found some on line but think they are the smaller size.
