So far everything over the phone, and 1 visit so they knew I was real. I'm pushing to get 15K and ill make the move. what truck?
CamaroVetteGuy Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 A ford dealership near me is offering $7k rebate plus 0% financing on new F150’s. Maybe GM will increase their offers?

So what’s with the first responder discount? Marketing ploy? I have had 3 dealerships tell me that using the first responder discount doesn’t do anything to help me. Both are saying the $6500 dealer and $6500 GMC cash is the best price offer. Why wouldn’t the dealer add it to the GMC cash? It is legit. You have to register on that ID.me website. The two dealerships i dealt with were different. I think the other dealership was $500 off on top of everything, but the dealership i got it from was like a $925 or $975 discount. Basically their dealer fee was $999, but the first responder discount was a $25 or $75 dollar dealer fee. Dont remember which. But very good. Sticker on mine was 58,500. Got them to $43,****** plus tax tag and title. Came out to 25%. When you talk with dealers, you give them the number you will do the deal for after a bit of back and forth. Or when they come back, be like no, but if you sell it to me for this (25% off of MSRP) i will come down and sign the paperwork tomorrow. I think once you get to them that you are dead serious and that you will buy it, they will dig a little deeper. I was about 3000 less than the original dealer price that i was offered. If they stop replying to you after they say that they cannot do it, they are at the bottom. I was told that they could not go any lower, and then i said ok let me know if any other rebates come out. Next weekend i got a text from the salesman saying that they need to move the vehicle. I gave them the price i wanted and then had a family friend call in a favor to someone they knew at the dealership and they made it happen. Make 25% off the price you want. Regardless of what the rebates are. More rebates, easier to get to that point. Just know that the AT4s i was looking at were advertised around 14 to 16%. I dont think you would get a huge deal on that truck.
wildstuff86 Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Im at 13.5K off Msrp an AT4 right now. I think around 20.5 percent. I would give up the AT5 for 25percent. I have the authorization code, but they won’t budge off the 13.5K. Did you go SLT version?

wildstuff86 Posted April 18, 2020 Posted April 18, 2020 I purchased my 2020 1500 AT4. 14K off MSRP. I felt it was a good price, and so far thoroughly enjoy it. 66,8K MSRP and got it for 52.6K. Dad is now shopping for a 2500/3500 Sierra HD Denali. GM excluded the cash back on the AT4s of $3500. Anyone have input on the future for May? Sounds like those AT4s are hot tickets. I'm guessing maybe a little more incentive as we creep towards June, but who knows. Thanks again to everyone on here! It surely helped in my decision making process. Thanks J
blaster2015 Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 That's roughly what I paid for my '20 AT4 1500 2 weeks ago. $66k sticker, out the door $52k +TT&L and i got about $5k over KBB for a lightly modified 4runner. My dad is shopping all the half-ton trucks as well, it'll be interesting to see what he's able to work for a dealsince he has zero brand loyalty.
sweatandsteel Posted April 19, 2020 Posted April 19, 2020 Mine was about the same with a slightly higher discount in that mine was listed at $68,700 and ended up at $53,700 + TTL. You can find some good deals out there right now if you can find a truck you like since the inventory is low.
msaul37 Posted April 20, 2020 Posted April 20, 2020 I remember seeing $14k off an RST in November(52,875 to 38,875), that's late in the year, but it's possible to get that much of a discount on a lower MSRP truck.
wildstuff86 Posted April 21, 2020 Posted April 21, 2020 Ok Team, Its me again, what are we expecting to see for incentives and rebates this May? I'm predicting 1500s stay at $6500, maybe actually decrease to $6K. I'm going to predict that 2500/3500 increase to $4250. To clarify, I'm speaking to GMC terms. Whats everyone got?

Was just wondering the same thing. I think they drop the incentive a little or keep it the same, definitely not going up in my opinion. Dealers around me have barely any inventory left and it’s going to create a massive problem come summer. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
f8l vnm Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 Can someone please explain this 6k or 6500 incentive to me? I;m lost I see you can get anywhere from 10k or higher of a truck , why does this incentive matter if your getting more off the truck ?
RetChief Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 The 10k + off is the sum of the 6500.00 GM incentive plus whatever a particular dealer is willing to discount. The dealer number is going to vary dealer to dealer of course.
