Cooled seats barely cool.

I am barely able to feel my cooled seats. When I test drove the Ram, they were strong. Is there something I can do to make them work better? They are almost non-existent.

Same here. There cool for the first few seconds then go away and can barely feel them

They aren’t “cooled”, just ventilated. So they are only as cool as the cabin. GM got rid of the real A/C seats after 2015.

Well that explains it cause my old 2015 seats were way cooler all the time.

We had a 15 and then a 16.

IMHO, the '16 did a better job of cooling/drying the butt.

Yes, I know that the 16 is just ventilated and the 15 had the peltier coolers.

I think it was because the 16 moved more air.

Anyway, with the 15 I often left it set on max cool

With the 16 (and the current '18) I often/usually move it to a 'less cool' setting.

I suspect it is because the 'ventilated' ones move more air.

New Silverado owner here. After 20 years of sedans. I find using the high fan setting on the ventilated seats along with the low temp setting for the driver’s climate control along with maybe 75% fan speed. My private parts start to tingle after about 15 minutes. That’s 1 feature I’ve gotten to know really well in the 2 weeks I’ve owned this gargantuan land yacht. The ac blows arctic . I have to adjust the temperature on my side after 15 minutes or less. And it’s been 85-90 for the past 10 days.

I had them on my 2017 LTZ and they are basically worthless so I didnt care if I got them on my 2020 RST Rally

They are just a series of fans in the seat bottom and seat back...the cooler the air source, the cooler the effect will be

Here's a thought. My 2020 sierra HD. Works great, and anyone with a skinny a** like mine would be just fine, cant leave it on high for more than a minute. All in good fun.
