Anyone notice the new style of Chevy & GMC's are missing that overhead flip-down holder for sunglasses?

Yup. If I could change one thing that would probably be it. I miss having the sunglass overhead storage.

I also wish there were overhead grab handles above each door. My hand naturally goes up there and I can’t get used to not having them

Yeah, they moved it to the front center dash, go figure.... Sunglasses heat up real bad there too.

No kidding. It's a terrible spot, but pretty much the only place to put them.

I think the sunglass storage was the first thing I noticed missing when I got my truck.

Mine has the grab handle.

Yeah people bitched because no glasses fit in them, although mine did.  So GM removed it.  People bitched about no drivers side handle, and that the steering wheel was not centered.  So GM centered the steering wheel, and added a grab bar to the drivers side.  Now there's bitching about the grab bar being to close the steering wheel, and people hit their hands  and/or cigarettes on them. In this day in age, you can't make anyone happy.  I bought a $3 clip for my glasses that goes on the visor, problem solved.

I do miss the holder. Like someone said, the center dash gets very warm and I’ve “lost” a pair of glasses in the larger storage area up there, because I couldn’t see them haha.

Man,I hate not having that there..It’s honestly the only thing I miss about my 2017 Denali...There was a thread on here a guy retro fit tied one from a Nissan Titan I believe....It came out awesome and looked factory..I’ll try and find a link to the thread

In all the Chevys & GMC trucks I’ve driven in my life, I never noticed that the steering wheel wasn’t centered until I started reading about the next gen models (2019+). I had gotten so used driving with the wheel where it was that when I got my new truck I noticed a was always driving on or really close to the left line lol.

I like the handle, just miss the sunglasses holder. Oh well, definitely not a deal breaker even though everyone I tell it doesn’t have one, their instant reaction is “Seriously?!?” Lol

It's also missing turn signals on the mirrors and power adjustable pedals... I hope that GM will bring those features back for 2022.

My only guess as to why they got rid of the turn signals on the mirrors is because of the blind spot indicators. Every time you turned on your blinker you'd be getting the same light flash from your mirror that you new get from the blind spot indicator. That's just my guess.

Losing the adjustable peddles didn't bother me; it always felt goofy with the pedals extended. It felt like the heel of your foot wasn't on the floor like normally is, so whenever I drove one with adjustable pedals I always kept them retracted the whole way, like normal, and just slid the seat forward.
