Exhaust size?

I would like to know if my 2’7/8 o.d intermediate pipe after my long tubes going into flowmaster si/doFlowmaster exhaust is too small for my 6.0 cammed with 10.5 to 1 comp is restricting my motor. The factory 6.0 exhaust on HD’s is much bigger. Any thoughts?

Not enough to worry about. I'd be more worried about that muffler if it's a cambered muffler and not straight through design. A stock 5.3 from 2014+ makes 355hp/383ft lbs on the same size exhaust and will make even more power with engine mods.

 

If you want to go with a full 3in exhaust it wouldn't be much work and it may pick up a few horsepower but we aren't talking like 20hp unless that muffler is really bad at flowing air.
