Black bear tune update

Has any one else had to wait over a month for a tune update. Make me wonder if i should go another route when i do the supercharger.

efi Line might have better service, Black bear uses this for thiere software , so you should be able to update from the EFI live guys , you are dealing with an Austrailian company thats probably locked down under Tier 3/4 marshall law. nothing moves.!

 

try HP tuners is local based made and supported in 'Merica!

It takes about a month for them to get back to me the way their backlog is right now. They go by oldest email sent and work towards current, so if you send another email, that sends you back to the top of the current list and even further down their "backlog". Not the best practice IMO but it must work for them if they stay busy. Have to be patient, I guess, or like other say, switch to HP Tuners and learn to do it yourself in their suite.

I posted a link to a thread I started previously up above. BBP posted and said sending emails didn't affect your spot in the to do list. It only affected how quickly they answered your email if you send additional information or questions. They did acknowledge the lon wait times.

I submitted my request August 10th and got my files back on September 21st. I have no idea how long the wait is right now.

I used Diablew tune, and have been for a couple of years and Lew is the best for questions and turnaround for your tunes or updates.  Just my $.02. Waiting a month would not work well for me.
