I'm trying to find this for the 2022 Silverado.  I ordered a ZR2 yesterday but it hasn't been accepted yet. This would be super useful in making sure I get exactly what I'm looking for.

Oh, searching around I found the new Silverado's owners manual.

Nice. Manuals must be recently posted because they weren't there a few weeks ago. Here's the Sierra manual. https://www.gmc.com/bypass/pcf/gma-content-api/resources/sites/GMA/content/staging/MANUALS/5000/MA5634/en_US/1.0/22_GMC_Sierra_Sierra_Denali_1500_OM_en_US_U_84719636A_2021DEC07.pdf

The Silverado ordering guide is here https://www.gmfleetorderguide.com/NASApp/domestic/proddesc.jsp?year=2022&butID=1&regionID=1&divisionID=1&vehicleID=22363&type=0

That owner's manual appears to be a 2022 Limited edition. Looking at the picture of the dash, definitely a 2019-2021/2022 old version. GM screwed the pooched with this limited/ refreshed lingo.

Nah it's the new one. Check page 7. Shows the new dash.

Yes, you're right. I was looking at the work truck.

Ugh!  My dealer called me this morning. He got allocation for a ZR2 but I could only order it if I got it WITHOUT the multi-function tailgate.  If it were the sunroof, I could drop it but I want that tailgate.

Got my order in today, I think it's going to be quite a while though, that order list was huge !

RST Duramax - basically everything added

What was your MSRP? I’m looking at a RST with either the 6.2 or 3.0. Any ideas when you can expect delivery?

I am not ordering nothing! The way GM is deciding what options I get because of chip shortage I am waiting to see with my own eyes a truck with the options I want!

If I have to wait until 23 or 24 so be it!

Unknown at that time, but my current 2021 was 58k and I added a few extra things so I think this will be right at 60k.

No expected delivery date because i'm fairly low on the list and GM allocations are not generous at this time. Also, having it a diesel doesn't help as that's even more rare for an allocation.

When I have more info, I will post it up.

Sounds good, I am looking to move into a 3.0 too coming from a 5.3 RST.

Folks have any decision points for them when looking at AT4 vs. an AT4X? I was originally in the market for an AT4, but with the introduction of the AT4X I been looking at that, but not seeing anything that screams "you must now get AT4X"...

Thoughts from others?

I have thought about ordering the Denali Ultimate.  My local dealer is quoting MSRP, which sounded ok in these times.  Then I saw people talking about Robideaux and ordering for several thousand under MSRP.  Anyone have any real experience with them?  I am not in the biggest hurry, so waiting for allocation isn't the biggest deal as long as it isn't 3-5x the length of a local dealer.  Checking for thoughts.

Ill jump in to keep the information flowing.

2022 Sierra 1500 Denali Ultimate Frost White 3.0l Diesel

Dec 16 - reserved online

Jan 19 - order in with dealer code 1000

Feb 17 - dealer got allocation code 2000

Feb 22 - code 3000 no tpw

Feb 25 - code 3000 with tpw of 4-11

I was hoping for a late march build date but it is what it is. Dealer has all new trucks at MSRP so thats probably what Ill pay but hoping he fills the lot a little before my truck gets in to get some wiggle room on the price.

I finally got tired of the dealer telling me I can have this but not that. Couldn't build the truck I wanted with the options I desired. With this said I found me a 2022 GMC Sierra Limited I liked in the color combinations I wanted.

So, I happy with what I am going to be driving and no more hassling around with the dealers.

Trail Boss Silver Ice Metallic STD bed 3.0 dmax

Ordered on 12/27

Order accepted two weeks later and given a build week of 2/21

The chat on Chevy's website as of yesterday said it still had this build week. Will check with my dealer Monday and see if it got built and report back.

    • Howdy folks,   Recently I pulled a heated steering wheel and clock spring out of a 2015 Sierra All Terrain (part numbers coming soon - will have to disassemble), and just installed it on my 2016 Sierra WT (as base model as it gets).   On install, I noticed that I’m missing the connector often tucked behind the dash for the heating element.     No problem… or so I thought.   I used an “Add-A-Fuse” at my heated steering wheel fuse location, which has voltage, but no wires. I ran it to the positive of the heated steering wheel (Violet/White), and took black to ground.   Hooked up the battery, turned the truck on - no heated steering wheel. No button backlights. Was pleased to see that my cruise control was working though.   Read a post suggesting reversing polarity, so I gave it a shot. Violet and White to ground, Black to power.    Aha! Heat! But I seemingly can’t turn it off AND still no backlights on any of the buttons.    Checked all fuses, everything is still in good order. I’m stumped.   Does anyone have any insight? If so, please share!
    • I'm about 1800 miles into my last oil change, and yesterday a message appeared saying oil life was at 77%. Not sure why it popped up but I think all of these electronics could be susceptible to solar flares or somesuch. I change my oil right at 3K each time, and that was the first time in 10870 miles that message came up. Strange thing is that it showed on the screen at all since I don't drive with that sort of info displayed on the DIC.

    • Checked the pads today and there's plenty of meat on them. If the message keeps coming up, I'll just answer YES that the pads were replaced and wait for the squeal.
    • Welcome to the Forum! Always post the code definitions along with the codes. there are over 18000 possible codes, no one remembers them all and most will skip over your post rather than look them up
