Mobil 1 and AFM lifters

Say an insurance company has deemed you capable of work and will no longer support you. They know everything about you, no secrets left unsaid. Assessments, doctors, professional opinions. Some may actually even lie for unknown reasons. But, their information says it's a fact you can work.

However, this supported worker knows that he/she cannot work. They've done their best to give them understanding, how they see the world and themselves through their own eyes. To them it is a fact, they cannot work. A fact they cannot go back into the world.

These aren't opinions, both sides have what they believe to be fact.

And even these facts are open to interpretation because life is not simple. Nothing is simple and there's always exceptions.

That said, one could argue that I'm correct in my understanding because you and everyone else seems to be focused on physical, touchable, facts.

I think Grumpy, you are taking things out of context.

Everything is tied to the universe. But the fact a that a bullet to the head can kill, is physical. And not what I've been arguing.

But if you like, I'll step back and acknowledge former statements.

Today a bullet to the head can kill a person. Can you say that 50 years from now it will do the same?

I can't speak for anyone else Evan. However in my case this direction the tread has taken interest me. M1ck3y has asserted that the Sun may not rise tomorrow even though it has since it's creation. That a bullet to the head which has killed since bullets were invented may not do so in 2071. In his world gravity is here today and gone tomorrow.

(I know this isn't the 'set of facts' he's after ) And I would have conceded his point quite some time ago except he tied the words Fact and Truth together in an attempt to attack truth as if they are interchangeable. To example:

All squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares. M1ck3y would debate than all rectangles ARE squares making them indistinguishable. I expect for him this maybe true. But If allowed this misinformation unchanllenged, told enough times becomes a 'false fact' and someone else will mistake it for the truth.

Facts do change. Truth does not. A point I will not concede.

In M1ck3y's world order does not exist nor can it.

What does this have to do with the OP's question? The OP asked if anyone has had a lifter failure WHILE using Mobil 1. As asked the OP it trying to probe the idea that Mobil 1 at minimum can not prevent an oil related failure and at worst that Mobil 1 CAUSED the failure. Now he may not see it like that but I did not choose his words for him.

Simpler the OP wore a blue suit this morning and the sun came up and he wants to know if that has happened to anyone else AND IF IT HAS he expects that a connection will surely be proven. Basically this is a garbage thread meant to falsely prove that correlation is causation. Maybe in ignorance. Maybe and attack on Mobil 1. Who knows. He hasn't been back. :crackup:

@customboss thank you for hinting that I may be young, and have a poor education level. As well as indicating what I am, and am not vulnerable to. Editing in humbly/respectfully after the fact.. So you can insult and defend any retaliation against yourself. Stating that Im wrong, that you understand me. Did I say you were wrong, or that I disagree? I think we can all see what this says about you, and your tyrannical view regarding others opinions. How dare I think, or have a different perspective than you!

@Grumpy I've always appreciated your backhanded way at insulting others. Not quite so direct that if a retalitory response arises it can't be pinned as actually targeted at an individual.

I can see it is made to make you feel big and wise, or at least appear that way. Along with a larger than average font size, high lighted, underscored, capitalized etc. All of which has nothing to do with wisdom, and everything to do with implied intimidation and belittling.

Often the most unwise claim to be wise. Those filled with wisdom don't shout from the roof tops, because they know where wisdom comes from and how it is learned.

I do apologize if I offended either of you. I don't see it, nor was it my intent. I was simply expressing my right to free speech.

You continue to claim I'm wrong, it's impossible. That I've tied fact and truth together. I've done so such thing. You've created a believable story all to continue and/or finish an argument that paints you as all knowing. I make points, and statements and you interpret them the way you wish to interpret them. And fail to directly answer the question from the perspective of my post.

I think you may be getting close to understanding..

I haven't seen the original episodes in probably decades and never realized just how bad the acting in the choreographed action scenes were. Lol!

Me either, can you imagine how hot the poor bastard in the Gorn suit had to be out in the desert sun.

Plus the close ups really put in perspective how far movie props/computers have come

I started watching reruns of Miami Vice which when I saw it first run was cutting edge. Lord was it bad now viewed decades later. Elvis still rings for me thought. (The Gator)
