Hearing rumors the 2024 Silverado HD may be revealed in the next few weeks.  Wonder if 2023 will be a short

You know more in about two weeks for Chevy

I guess at the state fair of Texas? I've been kinda wondering about a short MY since there's not even a 2023 HD e-brochure (which is somewhat understandable if nothing much has changed).

Well, I was told "16 weeks" on my order by deposit, which is now halfway there without even an allocation (I really feel for y'all waiting insane amounts of time). I'll wait until debut and get back with the dealership and press the issue.

FWIW 2023 Silverado HD Build and Price has been up for some time.  Seems early to be even talking about 2024 unless an early intro is planned, but these days who knows.  Could be just a tease to steal some of Ford's 2023 Super Duty thunder (a pretty significant update including a new gas V-8).  In any event, I am looking forward to it.  Thinking about a new HD, would be nice to be able to 'punt' and order a 2023 if I don't like the 2024 changes.  But that probably won't happen!

2022 e-brochure

Yes 2023 build/price has been up a bit, but still 2022 brochure only. Don't guess there's enough change to merit adding one for current MY. I put a deposit down mid-July and will push the allocation issue since I was told "within 16 weeks" by the dealer. If not, I'll go back with another Ram.

If I was wanting a truck I would probably go into a hold pattern until after Xmas.  And if I am putting deposits down they better refundable.

The fed just raised the interest rate and some point this bubble has to bust and if you combine that with mild to high gas prices it wont be food for the car companies.

Probably wouldn't really see it until spring time, but the conditions are ripe for a downturn in which would drive 23 prices in 6 months and get 24s back on track with incentives.  Or things could keep going up

Maybe there is more to it than it seems, but kind of a yawner to me.  Maybe the interior is that much better?  shrug

Good update. Keeps it fresh, plus bringing back the bowtie on some lower trims. Looks good, modern. The 10-speed across the board is a great move. Should make the gas engine shine and show more potential.
