Fog light instrument panel indicator

This truck didn’t come with fog lights but the dashboard instrument panel does have a fog light indicator spot for them. My question is, which BCM connector and PIN number (OR whatever wire underneath) controls power to light that lamp? My plan is to use @TinkeringFox‘s excellent video to add a latching relay device and send power to that lamp (so it lights up and appears OEM) and also send power to an aftermarket Morimoto fog light harness relay to light the fog lights. Thanks for any thoughts on this.

Thank you @pgamboa . Sorry for these questions. Here goes. I hope they are clear.
1. Is there anyway that I can cause that fog indicator light in the instrument panel to come on? That is my goal.

2. What is needed to custom program my existing BCM to get that fog indicator to light up? Or do I need to replace my current BCM with another model/PN? My current BCM P/N is 13593214. Is there a down side to doing either one, such as it messing something else? Or is it all upside?

3. I think I still need the latching relay device ( that i learned about from @Traveling Fox’s excellent video) to get the switch’s momentary signal thru the firewall to my Morimoto under hood harness’ relay.  I’ve also confirmed that the switch currently sends a signal down to the BCM’s X1-pin15 connector; using a multimeter continuity test. But I don’t know if that signal is doing anything beyond that pin. So, I plan to tap into that spot and send a yellow ( or maybe blue) wire under hood to the Morimoto relay ( blue wire) and solder the connections.  I know that my truck’s OEM under hood main harness is not set up to plug into a GM front bumper / fog/ parking sensor harness; already tried. Nothing to plug into for my SLE model. So, I bought the Morimoto harness.

4. Do you have a source for this headlight switch with a red light glow? See photo below). My dealer can find one with a blue glow but I need the red glow to match my 2014 dashboard design. @TinkeringFox has the part number as GM 23458495 in his video. I know the off-road button glows when pressed. Do either of you know if the FOG button glows green, or changes color, when pressed?C91A9765-EB74-4815-86DC-120621FFDB34.thumb.jpeg.4818d5d35b4d9c67ba4e68a65f0eace7.jpeg

I have a 2018 Silverado 4x4 and I replaced the factory fog lights with ones from Diode Dynamics. The new fogs have an amber backlight that I need to tap somewhere to get power. Can anyone help me with a good location for tapping and what color wire to be looking for? I'm thinking of tapping into DRL so they are on at all times during the day.

I traded in a 2020 2500 truck for a 2021 2500 Denali and have nothing but problems, and the Dealer I have been using has not been helpful at all.
The primary problem is the radio screen will go blank while driving down the road, but the steering wheel controls still work. The radio was flashed to the latest update, and still has the same problem. Code U0184:00
The power folding mirrors went out and the dealer took four months to replace the mirrors to resolve that problem.
I picked up the truck and drove home and the fog lights stayed on until I cycled the ignition 3 times. The next day the reverse lights were on all night, until I cycled the ignition a few times, while driving down the road (with the reverse lights on) the camera view was active.
NOW the dealer says the truck is out of warranty and can't help!!

After searching and reading through many threads without the specific answers I'm looking for, I'm hoping for some information and advice.

      I'd like to have
1 )the fog-lights come on with the parking lights, so the fog-lights are on all the time (even staying on with high beams if possible)
      2) the Cargo Lamps illuminate when the truck is in Reverse.

I'd like to know what plug/pin number to jump with the diode and what size diode/direction the diode goes (which way the stripe faces). Bonus points for photos (see below)

I found this photo in a 2014 - 2018 GMC thread. The thread said the brown to pink is the cargo-reverse light mod and the brown to brown was the parking lights-fog lights mod.

Are the plugs/wires/diode direction the same for the 2020?
Is the 1Amp D1 diode the right one for these mods? Is the diode just pushed into the back of the plug, alongside the wire?

I'd appreciate any help that can be provided. Please be sure to dumb it down for me and any other future searchers. I know I need all the help I can get!!

      Thank you for your time,
      DC

Anyone here try to install the flushmount LED foglight pods in the lower valance where the tow hooks usually go? I don't have the tow hooks on my truck so I was just wondering what it would look like or if anyone has already done it. Maybe even a single row light bar going across from where the hooks would usually be, in the small space that's there?? Here's a pic of where I'm talking about.
