As the title says. I came across a set a pretty new 2018 front seats from a Silverado and placed it in my 1993 GMC K1500 single cab truck. I had a bench seat with no back support/no arm rest to buckets with an optional 3rd middle seat console that serves as an arm rest. I have connected power to the 12 volt charger and as soon as I buy a new radio I will connect the USB ports in the center console.1 point

Agreed, I like this look a lot more on the SUV than the truck even. Can’t wait to see the Yukon.1 point

I just recently installed the new Eibachs and they have made a dramatic improvement over the stock front shocks. I already had Rancho adjustable 9000's on the rear for a few months and felt the difference between front and rear on large bumps especially at higher speeds on freeway bridge transitions. The 305/55-20 Dick Cepek Trail Country EXP tires are much heavier and stiffer (62lbs vs. 41) than stock tires so the front would bounce uncomfortably at times. The new shocks don't do that and feel smoother on smooth roads and a little rougher on bumpier roads, but not too rough. Over driveways and speed bumps they actually feel smoother and the truck doesn't bottom out or bounce up and down. I had and kept on a Superlift 2' leveling kit on front and set the new shocks to the second to the highest setting for a 3" total lift in front. So with the 2 inch rear blocks the truck measures 41" high all around. The truck used to rock side to side if you jiggled the steering wheel and felt like my old overloaded service van rocking when it did that. that too is gone.1 point

I’ve been using Auto Pro in Conroe TX for 40 years for exhaust and modifications. Local dealers use Joey for custom exhaust work. I’ve dreamed up pretty wild exhaust over the years. He had no problems building them. He kept some of my custom cars going when I was too busy to do it. He’s the reason I couldn’t understand why people would buy mail order exhaust. Good to be spoiled. That's so your truck stays exactly where you want it - back up to the trailer and when you go to drop the trailer onto the ball you don't get frustrated because the truck rolled an inch or two1 point

Makes me wonder how many port fuel injected heads you’ve seen. That looks barely worse than a similar mile ls1. Head looks great1 point

The heated seats will come on with a remote start when selected in the settings, however the indicator lights won’t be on. Also, as mentioned earlier, once the vehicle is started, the seats will turn off so you’ll need to turn them back on.1 point

Oznium bolt lights Fuze tapped into parking light fuse under the hood, this way they are on only when parking lights are on fabricated the mounts out of 1/8 inch abs plastic found on amazon cut to 1 inch and plastic welded to the backside of the grill. That gave it a clean factory look1 point

The heated seats will be on when its remote started, but once you turn on the truck you physically need to turn it manually(by pressing the button) on again. This keeps people from having to turn off the passenger side every time they remote start the truck.1 point

If the pull direction swapped you may need a new front tire to repair.1 point

To me the 6'6" box IS the short box. 8' is long, and that teeny bicycle basket behind the crew cabs doesn't come on a 2-door, therefore it doesn't exist! ?1 point

I believe it just increases the LEDs in the array that turn on.. (guessing at numbers) Low beams have 5 on then high beams add another 3 for example..1 point

Your videos helped me out a ton. I always refer people to your YouTube channel when they’re searching for exhaust. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk1 point

It will engage the park brake on an incline automatically. But sometimes it does it randomly as a system process. Mine hasn’t done that very often, but I use mine every night as I park on an incline at home.1 point

Please post a video on how you accomplished this. That way we can see how it is done and would save us all some serious time in doing so.1 point

I tried that on my 2019 Silverado the other day too... Thought it was pretty cool1 point

I'm hoping someone comes up with a "hack" that allows you to record what your HD cameras are showing as you drive down the road....maybe even just capture the last 15 minutes or so....giving you the ability to replay an event just after it happens1 point

only had my SLT for about a month. Never had wireless charging before this truck. I would put my phone on it to charge and lean over to look for the little lightning bolt to make sure its charging, The other day I noticed, when you put the phone on to charge the phone icon on the screen changes to a lightning bolt as well. Maybe im dumb, but i thought it was cool.1 point

I knew that tapping the buttons behind the left side of the steering wheel scrolls through your presets but if you press and hold, it tunes to the next available station. That's how it works for XM radio anyway. I haven't tried it for FM or other inputs.1 point

I have owned 3 silverados in a row and never even thought about another brand, but i too might take a look at some other trucks when my lease is up. I'll say this though, at least chevy didn't try to sell us a turbo 6 like ford did. sunglass holder? that's nothing compared to the shit show that must have created1 point

Mine apparently broke off on the highway. I was able to grab it while it was fluttering. I went to the dealer and after a week they snapped the new one on without dismantling the mirror (literally saw them snap it back on). You do not need to take the mirror apart.1 point

I remember my dads 81' F150 leaking from the quarter window and watching it trickle down the door onto the rubber floor and not effecting anything. These new trucks are disasters waiting to happen in so many ways.0 points
