fracken GM and their stupid column shifters.. I wish to gawd they would do away with that crap.

Column shift belongs in a truck. No reason to have it anywhere else. If you want a stupid console mounted shifter get yourself a Ram.

Interior is fugly. Guess I will be hanging on to my current trucks for a long time. Those knobs for the controls look like they are right out of a Ford. If that's the final product I feel sorry for GM.

That interior is like a weird mish-mash of going backwards 20 years with a few parts from the current trucks thrown in to just show how out of place it all looks.

If that's the real and final interior then I'm glad I never waited to buy my truck.

my 1990 suburban has a nicer looking interior than that... really glad i picked up a 2012 instead of waiting till the next gen. whats up with the row of 10 or so switches on the bottom part of the dash? that just looks dumb and confusing while youre driving down the road

I don't like the dash at all. Gauges look ok along with the door panel, but everything else looks like crap IMO.

interior will have to grow on me. as far as the exterior, it looks pretty good so far, dosent look too different then the current body style which is a good thing

I almost thought they must have the real dash covered with a pad and just showing the entertainment/hvac controls. But it doesnt look that way. Have to see better pics of the finished product before making final decision.

I had this thought too and I think it may be the case- the way the center stack is recessed looks damn weird to me, I think there may be something covering the real dash panels.

After seeing that interior i am left disappointed. What a fail. I see soo many gmt 900 parts reused. If this is what they are offering, i might have to look at other trucks. I hope i am wrong and this is a hybrid or some joke.

If that is indeed what it will be like, I'm sorry but goodbye GM.

But I am willing to bet that is just a decoy so everyone will talk crap but once they are really out I bet it will be the best interior offered for a half ton.

GM hasnt had the best interior in my eyes since the GMT-800. the 08 Ram 2500 my uncle has i think is better than the GMT-900. Anything is better than the current Ram though.

Where? I see maybe the shifter, sunvisor and possibly the inside mirror (though that has some sort of plastic base like the Cruze and other new GMs). Different steering wheel, gauge cluster, center stack and armrest. Towing mirrors too but the design can't be beat which is why GM, Ford, Toyota and Nissan all use similar designs.
