The easiest and cheapest is an aluminum 3/4" thick lower front shock spacer from ebay. That'll get about 1 1/2" front lift. I've been running that since about May.

Just put some 20x9 Gear Alloy 726s and 305/50/20 TG. No rubbing with a 2" level.

I just purched a new 2014 and have been following for a while. I put on my Rough Country 2.5 without the rear block change and here is what I found. The ride is noticably stiffer but better than my 11 with 7.5 and 35s

Made the exact same trip pre level and after used cruise both time at each speed zone to stay consistant. Second run after level had more trafic conjestion. Both where 13 miles highway 65mph, 4 miles 55mph backroad and 2 miles city stop and go 35mph

Awesome looking truck. How is the negative offset with the rubbing? Is it only in reverse at full lock? I am really close to pulling the trigger on some new rims and the Fuel Mavericks and the Fuel Kranks are the 2 that I am looking at in that same -12 or possibly -24 with the 33 x 12.5 x 20 tires.

 

yes its at full lock. Im still debating on lifting though.

I started to install my King shocks, RC UCAs, and Hellwig sway bars today. Right off the bat I ran into the dreaded "aftermarket interference" The Rough Country UCAs interfered with the frame flange. At first it looked like I could grind away a bit and it'd be fine. After grinding 1/2" off the flange and down to where the camber/caster cam is, I stopped. Still interference as you can see in the pix. Anyone thinking of buying the RC UCA for their 2014 should reconsider. I used their live chat and their guy said it fit. Frankly, these wouldn't fit any truck. No-mo RC anything for me.

My Cognito UCAs came in. I assembled the bushing, zerks, and balljoints. I'll get back to putting the truck together with the Kings and Hellwig bars. The pointer says they pass the smell test.

 

BTW, Cognito says in their instructions they want you to cut that down stop piece out of the frame so the downward travel is free to go to the limit of the shocks.

I recently added a level to the front of my 2014 GMC Sierra and I feel like the bag kinda sags a little , is that why I see a lot of people talk about a 1inch block in the rear or that has nothing to do with it? I'm new at all this so not sure.

Is there any downside to getting the 2.5 kit and doing a front only level? Because it looks phenomenal. My plan is a 2.5" RC kit, Toyo Open Country RT 33X12.5X20, replacement bumpers, and some other things but i love the look of your truck. Also what tint did you get?

Well I am having an issue with the height (left to right). I did the rc 2.5" with the rear blocks and I am sitting 1/4 inch low on the left side from the right. I have a thread going in the trouble shooting section. anyone having the same measurements with the truck and the 2.5.

 

Please check the thread in the troubleshooting section but for quick reference here are my measurements

 

LF: 39 RF: 39 1/4

LR: 39 1/4 RR: 39 1/2

 

This is with the rear blocks installed. My bed cover is pretty heavy and with the long bed I am guessing this is why I am not at the normal 40 inches in the rear.

 

It may be me being way to anal about this but it doesn't seem right. Also these measurements were with 1/4 tank of fuel. measured multiple times after rocking the truck to settle it and also completely jacking it up and letting it back down on the ground. Every time I had the same measurements as above.

Did you take some pre level measurements to compare them against each other?

    • I will admit I haven't experimented much with pressure drops beyond the numbers I put in and part of that is that the numbers I used are fairly low and then found out it would trigger regardless at that 35 psi. Having said that I had tried before had changed the placard pressures and being that I have a 1 ton set to 80 on the placard for the rear I believe it triggered close to 60, the front I don't recall now for sure but thought maybe it could get close to 45 from that factory 60 placard pressure. So I never did figure out if it was a number of psi from placard pressure to the alarm or a percentage of the total placard number as some figured it was like a 25% drop from placard pressure would trigger it. So as to try and answer your question, I believe I set the placard pressure on the front to 47 or so and while I run the front tires at 40, they have dipped below that some if its colder and I haven't put "winter air" in yet and never once have had the front alarm go off. I would say that the answer your looking for is no, that if you set your placard pressure to 45, you have a certain amount of room to drop below that pressure before the alarm will go off.    The pressures you decide to run in your truck, that ends up being what makes sense to you based on what your carrying in your truck or if towing, then have to bump them back up to something that will carry the load in the rear and the fronts typically left at the same pressure. It all comes down to that chart I put the link to and using an accurate roadside scale to be your guide, both unloaded and then loaded to know your minimum safe pressures.    I just wish GM would allow a person to change the readings for the tire pressures to the English system of pounds as I have to look at that goofy metric reading that will never ever jive in my head and will go over and change it just to figure out what they are if need be and then change it back. 
    • That part I understand, that the dealer can do it. But I'm not understanding why updates that were available to the truck since it left the factory, or the dealership originally, would not still be available to it without dealer intervention.   I'm thinking along the lines of recalls. They stay available until they are completed. Why not updates as well, especially since some of those can be safety related also?
    • That's good to know, but I don't think I'll even be running them under 45 in the rear  unless it's on the sand or something but will only be for a short distance anyways!    I didn't read all the instructions in the booklet yet, but do you know let's say I set the rear psi on the placard to 45, will the warning light come on soon as it drops under 45 or is there a percentage it has to drop from the set value before the warning light is triggered?
    • That's bad.  Like, its probably destroying the stub axle the CV slides into.   Do you have a proper lift installed with differential lowering brackets?  Did you install AT4/Trail Boss factory CV axles?  
    • Hot? New Jersey? Today? I was working on my old 2000 Silverado 1500 today. Believe me, it was boiling hot today. As it has been.
