2014+ Leveling Kits

Just finished a TGC 2.5" leveling kit and definitely loving the new look. Quality of the kit is top notch. Starting with just the lower spacer and it wasn't high enough. My truck's rake was right at about 3" from the factory.

Could anyone with a 1.5 - 2" leveling kit measure the height of your truck from ground to roof (1500 models)?

I am just trying to get an idea of how much room I'll have entering and exiting my garage. I believe when I first measure the garage I had about 86" to enter the frame and inside of course was much more.

I initially thought I could just measure my own truck and then add 2" but I just have a feeling it doesn't work like that and the last thing I want to do is level it and it doesn't fit, having to park it outside for potential hail and snow for sure in these long 6 months of winter we have here

Mine has a 2.5" level and I'm sitting at 76" or just about as when I measure it is taller than I am. But you will not have an issue getting in your garage

I literally registered to ask this exact question. Been reading this post for the last few days, and if I decide to pull the trigger on a 15 Sierra it's getting the leveling kit and tire package before it even makes it to 100 miles on the odometer. In the long run, I don't want something that won't fit in most parking garages in the city, or a personal garage when we finally decide to move.

At this point, it looks like kits are readily available for trucks with and without the All Terrain package, correct?

Ok just got all done with the leveling kit. First picture is of the day I picked it up.

Measurements were:

39 front wheel well

38 rear wheel well

18 front of cab

17.25 back of cab

Is there a definitive answer for what size tires I can run with a 2.5 level on the factory 18" wheels. I've been searching for a couple days and can't find a straight answer.

285/65r18 for sure, probably can get away with 285/70r18

No to a 295/65r18.? Goodyear makes the duratrac in that size

Neverminds, there are ko2s in the 285/65. I'll just go with those, reviews are good

Looking for some side pics of your 4WD Sierra 'levelled' with an 1.5" or 2" in the front. Trying to decide between 1.5" and 2". I am running 20" wheels with stock tires, Crew cab. Thanks everybody!

I did measure before, forget the exact measurements but it was around 36 in front and 38 in rear. I went with the rough country because I knew It would come with the rear block if needed.

I plasti dipped the bowties. the bowties were real easy. I also later did the wheel inserts and bowties. They were alittle harder but not so bad after I figured it out. On the wheels I couldn't let it dry, had to spray real thick coat and pull tape immediately while still wet.
