2014+ Leveling Kits

Looking to pull the trigger on a leveling kit and tires soon on my '15 sierra CCSB. Im sure this has been answered before, but would y'all recommend the RC 2.5" leveling kit or bilstein/rancho quick lifts? Also, what is the biggest size tire that you can run with each on stock 20's? I'm looking at 33x12.5x20s or 275/65r20s. With a true 33, how bad is the rubbing on the UCA/sway bar?

I just bought a 2015 Sierra 1500 all terrain and I'm looking to put a leveling/lift kit in it. The stock wheels are 18's. What lift should I go with if I'm not looking to buy new wheels and tires yet?

Just level the front if you don't plan on new tires yet.

I've noticed a noise coming from my CV joints. At full lock, going pretty slow is sounds like a rubbing/clicking sound. It's very light/faint. Had the GF get in it and turn the wheel and move the truck forward and to the rear, turned at full lock both ways and the sound comes from the CV joints. Not sure of its normal, it's been to cold to have the windows down to hear anything until recently.

So did you get this fixed? Was it in fact the CV joints or something else? Do you think it had to do with the motofab level kit? More info please.

Finally had to cancel my Bilstein front leveling shocks with Suspension Connection. I bought them in April and they kept being pushed back a month at a time until finally they said it would be mid-september. I'm thinking I'll just buy some spacers, but maybe another site has them in stock.

go with rancho quicklifts they are amazing and ride really nice too and you can adjust them to your liking.....

Finally had to cancel my Bilstein front leveling shocks with Suspension Connection. I bought them in April and they kept being pushed back a month at a time until finally they said it would be mid-september. I'm thinking I'll just buy some spacers, but maybe another site has them in stock.

I bought some from autoplicity and they ran out and could not fill my order, so I found some on ebay and ordered 2 sets for me and a friend got them last week for 359.99. He has since sold out and there is another guy on ebay with a set of 4 right now but he wants 419.99 if you want to spend that much on them looks like he has 3 sets still.

I might try to pick some up on eBay, hopefully I can find them without gouging.

Bad part is they already spent me the Bilstein rear shocks. I may be a nut, but I want a matching set or I may just do a spacer and get it over with.

Do they remove the factory spring and these replace it since it has a spring on it?

Also does it require an alignment after install?

Rancho quick lifts already have the spring on them and you do need an alignment. Go to Rancho's website and you will learn more.

They are basically a beefed up version of the 5100's, from what I've read anyways. I'm not sure if they are out or not yet though.

Those look like they come with new springs too, but not the spring hat, so you'd still have to have a spring compressor. No big deal about that though. I'll have to do some looking around but those look interesting. I wouldn't mind waiting for those to come out. I'm not in a big hurry to spend a couple grand on wheels and tires yet anyway.

Oh wow, those are pricey! $699.

Just changing the rears made a huge difference in ride quality. Went with a set of 285/65r18 Toyo Open Country Extreme AT2S. Next will be super springs or air bags to help level it out while towing and to get more rake back. Also has NFAB 3 steps in wrinkle finish.

I have a 2014 crew cab standard bed and mine came with 3inch rake from the factory. just did the Rough Country 2 inch level in the front so now only 1 inch rake. Looks great! I too did the 285/65/18 Toyo Open Country AT2s. LOVE those tires!
