HondaHawkGT Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 HondaHawk, can you post a pic down the side of your truck. I would like to see if your set up has the tires sitting flush or outside the wheel wells. Thanks They stick out just under 3/4". Here's the best picture I have at the moment.
VinnyZ17 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Thanks, I'm looking into 285/70 17 (33x11.5) on either a 0 or +12 offset. It's about a 1/2 in difference with these two offsets. How bad does it throw mud on the side of the truck???
HondaHawkGT Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Not bad. The body panels on these K2's tuck in quite a bit so even a tucked in setup gets plenty of mud thrown on the sides without mud flaps. The Toyos throw more rocks than my Cooper ST Maxx's unfortunately...
JoshsSierra1500 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Im hope this hasnt been asked but has anyone run this kit and if so how was it? I am going to be putting it on a 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 All-Terrain. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00V9AUSNY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1S9WE25NPO1EQ&coliid=I1IFMOE6QW3YMV
HondaHawkGT Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I've heard complaints on the U-bolts. I guess they're chinese junk metal. I wouldn't trust them to attach my axle to the truck.
fuse36 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Added 1.5 zone body lift to RC 2.5 level so my 305 55 20 would not rub with 0 offset. No rub at all at full lock. Love the ride also. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
z71 chevy Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Added 1.5 zone body lift to RC 2.5 level so my 305 55 20 would not rub with 0 offset. No rub at all at full lock. Love the ride also Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Looks good fuse glad that solved your rubbing issue 1
bigomatt Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I did a Suspension Maxx 1.5" and 22's with 305/45R22 Nitto Terra Grapler G2's. 3
Robert.jean1 Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I like the way your wheels blend with the color of the truck. I did a Suspension Maxx 1.5" and 22's with 305/45R22 Nitto Terra Grapler G2's.
mrhonestlyinsane Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 I love the look of these body lift combo lifts. May have to do it to mine.
langston1726 Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Got the tires put on a few days ago. Tires are 275/70R18 Toyo Open Country M/T. I also have a RC 2.5 leveling kit, with the rear blocks that came with the kit installed(some people didn't use them). That looks really good man. [emoji106]That color is really starting to grow on me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
timberwolfvt Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 can anyone tell me the correct way to disconnect the electric power steering plugs? At first glance they don't seem to be your typical plug bayonet types, and I really don't want to break them. Thx.
geauxtigers Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 Finally broke down and did it. RC 2.5" level. 295/55r20 Nitto Trail Grapplers. Air dam removed. 4
