What offset did you go with on the 970s, +18 or +00

Well this sucks, I called the dealer I just purchased my 2016 Silverado from to ask them what they charge to install a leveling kit. They quoted $160 in parts, $230 in labor and $84.95 for a front end alignment. When I told the girl I will just bring it in for an alignment after I install the kit myself, she dropped the "that will void your warranty" bomb on me. Really?

Why do you expect them to say? Yeah alter the truck and we'll still take care of it!

I've had plenty of cars in the past that I was able to mod and not void warranties. I also never said I was mad about it and was only responding to the other post above mine. I also understand Chevy's stance on warranty issues on suspension and engine pieces, and that is fine. However if a person were to have a leveling kit or anything else done, and it is by a competent shop, then you would think that they would be a bit more friendly towards it. Enjoy your day.

Basically this rubbed me the wrong way. My last truck was a Ford with a 6.0 Powerstroke. God knows all the problems with that engine. My service writer at Ford had no problem with the fact I was running a programmer. This kinda pissed my off as far as my new chevy dealer is concerned. And yes, basically because I told them I would install myself and not pay them their high fees. Just tell me one thing. Has Chevrolet denied everyone warranty who went off and installed these huge lift kits and put on huge tires???

THEY ARE +00

Any pics down the side?? The other pics make it look like they are sucked in a little when they should be flush or a little outside the finder. Thanks

I leveled the front with a 3" kit from CCm Offroad (The kit I used fit 2007-2014), I also have air bags in the back I tow a trailer and didn't want the back to sag. the tires are cooper neon ltz 305/55r20

I also painted the center caps of the rims to match the rims. De badges and tinted the windows.

Looks good. When you debadged the truck did you remove the chrome door strips? Any difficulty?
