My new 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE Z71 in Summit White

 

Nice truck!! Here is what it will look like with 2.5 RC level with rear block, 32s and shaved chin. I've also got airbags in the back for towing.

Bcbz: That looks really nice man. I've thought about leveling it, but not necessarily raising it any. I'm not sure, yet. The 2.5 on yours does look outstanding though. How does shaving the dam affect things?

Here's my 2016 Silverado LT Crew. It has a MotoFab 2" Level kit along with 22" Replica CK158's and 305/45/22 Hankook DynaPro ATM Tires. The bed cover is a DiamondBack..

I wasn't sure about putting the rear block in, so I put in the front 2.5 kit and it looked weird. Even though the fenderwells were level, the big hood gave it the appearance of being nose high -- which is a look I despise. I put in the rear block and that was OK, but I tow a lot and carry a Quad in the bed, so the air bags prevent butt sag.

 

I took off my air dam but didn't like the look because you could see the holes in the bottom of the bumper. I cut mine in half and reinstalled...and still didn't like the look. Took it off again and cut it so it was only about 1" long....almost looks like the black trim ring around the GMC wheel wells and I really like it. Makes the truck look way taller from the front without an air dam. The 2016 air dams look a little different....not sure if you can cut them down.

Good looking truck. I tow also and am thinking of air bags in rear as I have 2.5" up front and stock rear. What brand bags, how much, and any warranty on them? Noticeable effectiveness when towing? Thx

Here is another pic and I also posted 1 last week on the Black Silverado thread. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get a lot of pics since I switched to these 22" wheels, but I'll post some more when I take them. Thanks!
