I gotta ask. Why? I could see for parking, but at all times I couldn't imagine a reason. To each their own though!

Partially I want to be like batman? XD he has one in his batmobile i think haha. no, that is not the reason. I might be working downtown soon, I'd like to have more vision in the front bumper.

I think i have a pretty good grasp on the length of the front, but I never trust the front sensor.

Having the ability to add camera inputs, this will also allow me to add my own phone display to the dash, it will be good for google maps!!

I have yet to wax it I thought that maybe the residue will come off with the next wash....there's nothing sticky on there now I'm just worried about a "4x4" outline being on there. Should I use the gas or wd-40 just in case? I don't see an outline right now but the light isn't hitting it the right way

I've used gas on my car, truck, and bike for years now with no issue. The off look took a little buffing to fix on the truck. Guess they put the badges on before the paint was cured or something.

Has anyone added video input to the 8" screen or even the 4 inch screen in the cluster? I want to add a front camera that I can view at all times

I'd like one also. At work I get in the truck and have to get back out to make sure it's clear in front if there isn't room to back up to see.

Ordered up the Hypertech speedometer calibrator due to the fact I have a leveling kit and 33" tires.

Well, if I get this http://www.ebay.ca/itm/HD-Night-Vision-Car-Rearview-Camera-Universal-Auto-Parking-Reverse-Backup-Camera-/281633335496?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4192a7a8c8

and

It is totally possible, but I am not sure how easy it is to hook up the video module, I would like someone to shine some light on this if anyone has done it

I douche'd the engine. I was looking at the engine for something I was considering when I noticed it's been a year since I bought it and the engine compartment was dirty from off-roading and there were some areas building black greasy crud around the timing cover where the gasket is weeping. I had pulled the massive air inlet duct from the engine to look at something, so I got out the Simple Green while the engine was cold this morning and squirted it down good, let it work, and hosed out the compartment and specific areas of the engine. Looks like it came off the showroom floor.

I also washed it tonight.

I ordered an oil separator and a throttle body today as well.

Washed "Ruby" too and took pics of the tint job done on Friday. Solar Gard Ultra Performance 30 front / clear in rear. Much cooler inside now.

Have you checked the intake valves?? There is saying that DI motors gets a lot of gunk build up at the valve, I just wanted to know if this is affecting GM. It is affecting more on the Audi and BMW, mostly turbo motors, nothing said for the ford ecoboosts yet

Clear in the rear? I've had plenty of new vehicles tinted but never heard of clear tint.

Interesting, huh...the rear is only dye from the factory, so I'm told, with little to no UV protection. This clear film filters out the harmful UV and keeps the heat out. I didn't want it any darker in the back, so there it is. It really makes a difference!

If you look at this sample board, the clear is above the 30 sample.3e0fa2a04efb361a048ecc6bf00afce6.jpg

Took the OEM nerf bars off in preparation for nfab installation tomorrow. Kind of like the look but makes it a little hard to get in and out of the truck.
