I did a swap with squib (big thanks btw) for his chrome window trim. Got it all installed and got the truck all shined up! Never been a big chrome guy in the past (as i know alot of you feel the same), but with the silver paint, and chrome grill and wheels, it just seemed right

What size tires and rims are you running? I have the 15 Sierra Denali 5.3L 4x4 and want to fill in that space that I currently have with my stock 20s.

I am running 22x9.5" XD Monsters with a +18 offset wrapped with 285/50-22 Nitto G2 Terra grapplers. It equals out to be about 33.3" total. also have a 2 "level. Ive had this truck 3 months and this is actually my 4th wheel/tire combo. After alot of tries i think i finally got it right lol. I love this combo as it fills the gap perfectly imo

What did this cost you?

I don't have bose, but the separate amp gave my door speakers the extra kick they needed and the sub is good enough to rattle my teeth when I want to turn it up. It is a good system to upgrade the factory setup without looking like you went aftermarket. You can spend alot more for a perfect system, but I am happy with this. Hope this helps.

absolutely, thank you. Did you install this yourself and if so, how'd that go? Also, what was the cost please?

I installed this myself on a Friday night in about 2 hours with hand tools. You will cut your hands running wires under the dash and cuss when trying to run the wires through the firewall. You will also enjoy the part that everything is plug and play. Cost of the kit was $860 from iamgmparts.

Since pics after the sun has gone down always look good....here is a pic in the full morning sun. Did a full walk around in the sun to check it out and it looks amazing....the metallic really pops in the sun with this combo. Still considering topping with a nuba or some NB but it looks so good as is I hate to mess with it. 055b88e1cf560d1bdbac2eca0f2fd516.jpg[emoji7] [emoji4]

When you use a foam gun, do you still have to scrub/brush or just hose it off after? I'm sure whatever you missed with the foam, you picked up with the clay bar.

Got my ARE cover. First time out in the sun and the color is off. The front bulkhead seal has 1/4" gaps at the corners, and I'm not fond of the extreme fiberglass wave it has on the sides. I'm working with ARE now to see if they will send a replacement.. Time will tell.

Some people don't wash after just depending in how dirty it was prior. Some folks even foam, rinse then foam again a section a time and was with mitt. The foam is really just there to help pull the grim away from the paint. Mine was pretty dirty so I foamed then washed afterwards with the 2 bucket method. The foam cannon is fun tho. [emoji12]

Hello Corwest, I've been scouring the net trying to figure out how to drop my overhead console without breaking anything. I have a switch in mine I need to wire up to a light bar. Seeing how you replaced that bulb I'm guessing you can give me some guidance ? Thanks!

Use a pick or something small and you can pop out the center piece. Once that piece is gone there are 2 small screws and some clips holding the rest of it in place.
