Got a bit of sun yesterday so I vinyl wrapped my chrome All Terrain grill accents in glossy black and Plasti dipped the All Terrain door emblems. A couple of days before that I got a local shop to smoke the headlights.

Thanks for all the compliments fellas!

What's your setup? Level? Tires?

looks good. how hard was it to vinyl wrap ?? head lights are they tinted or spray ??

The vinyl was super easy...its like putting on a sticker. Cut out enough so that the heat gun is able to wrap around the chrome trim, use a credit card to squeeze out all the bubbles, then just trim as close as you can to the edges. I used my finger nails and tucked the vinyl behind the chrome inserts. The headlights are a tinted film that is applied just like a 3M clear bra. I've seen head light cut outs for sale online for about $40 American...I got a local shop to do my lights for $84 Canadian all in, so I didn't see the need to do it myself.

Tinted head lights look great! Never thought I would say that.... More info on how it was done?

I googled it online and it looks quite easy. Basically, wet both sides of the film, squeegee it flat so that there are no bubbles. Let it cure a bit then trim. However, I got a great deal on the install from a local shop so I let the professionals do it this time around!

Thanks to all the info on here, install was a breeze. Used a 32" OZ-USA 4d light. Not bad for a $120 light bar. 1df84dbdfa503082ef5ea8139a077cd3.jpg

You got a picture of it shining on the road? And also a link to the light bar would be greatly appreciated!

Well i added some flush mount white leds to my old-man rear bumper steps, to match my running board and under rail lighting. Big props to fellow member, rdnckhntr94 for inspiring me!

Nice...

Me too... Im originally from Mesquite.

Hey quick question.... I put the taylor wires but my truck has what seems like a slight missfire. Were yours loose when installing them or really hard to get them to snap onto the plugs??

Pulled a 5,000lb trailer for 3 hrs and it was fine but after that it developed that slight misfire. Only does it when it goes into 6th and the rpms are low. Ill re check it in the morning. Bad snow in south Dakota so spending the night in a hotel in the middle of nowhere lol

Very nice work... Guess I am now inspired. That's what makes this forum so awesome. Like minded individuals working toward one common goal.....adding mods that a corporation should make available as options. IMO

How polite are the duratracs on the highway? Very loud? I have read conflicting stories on them.
