looks great how long did take to change the leds

thanks

the first couple took a little bit becuz i had never done it before and was suuuuuper cautious (kinda don't want to mess up the dash computer board!). i was also back an forth to my truck a ton making sure stuff i did wasn't messing anything up and that the lights were in fact done properly and lighting up. all the LEDs have a little 'notch' in the corner (this tells the polarity of the bulb) and one would assume that you just match them up - and i my case it was, but i did watch a video on you tube where the guy mentioned that his LEDs had the notch in the opposite orientation so make sure you check. it would suck if you get everything soldered on, only to find you did it all wrong. i think the oznium LEDs all have the same polarity notch except the red, they are reverse for some reason.

these are what i used - https://www.oznium.com/plcc-2

after getting the hang of it i would say it's at most 1 minute to remove a stock LED and maybe a minute or two to put on the new one. i found a lot of the time was used to make sure my tweezers had a good hold of the new LED and that it was positioned exactly where i wanted it.

Yeah I agree, I'd love to find a tungsten bumper to throw on there but, we just moved into a new house on 3-1/2 acres so I've been focusing my efforts and funds on the house so the truck will probably be taking a back seat for now.

Was a busy weekend. Blacked out chrome steps, body molding. Added the sport bar and lights and 2.5 level lift.

Repurposed the wood from the flag pole holder from my old truck to build a little stand for my filter system that came in this past week. Haven't had time since last weekend, been getting ready for my sisters wedding all week. Only took me a few minutes to throw it together, didn't even have to cut any boards. Nothing fancy but it's sturdy and does the job

Let us know how it works out for you. I hate water spots!!!

May be a while till I can use it. I need to do a full detail in order to get rid of the current water spots and then we'll see how it works [emoji106]

Please keep us posted on how it works! Maybe a little how-to once tested with links of where you purchased your filters? I have been looking into making a system like this rather than buying one and have heard mixed reviews on the ones you can purchase so I have been on the fence for some time.

Just purchase some water filters like the ones seen in his post at home depot. Water spots on vehicles are by the impurities in water. Adding filters will remove these and result in a spot free finish. Years ago Mr.Clean had an auto washing kit and it was just a in line water filter. It worked great on my black WRX. Never had spots after rinsing with it in the sun or shade.

I hope they work good because I want it to be worth the $105 I spent lol. If they don't I'm sure the company will be hearing from me
