Well, I debadged my truck yesterday. Like what I usually do, get some fishing line and take the letters off. Then, got the eraser wheel & took the adhesive off. Truck looks a lot better now!

Can't decide to color match the doorhandles and mirror caps or not? Can't decide.

Honestly I think I'd do black mirror caps and leave the handles and side trim. That would be just enough chrome to tie in with the wheels.

Yeah that would work too, or just do both. Since they're is chrome on the back and front. While the side is chrome

So now the truck is clear wrapped from the windshield to the bow tie on the grill, the entire truck is ceramic coated, from the rims (inside and out) to the roof, bumper to bumper!

Changed the oil using the Fumoto valve for the first time. The good part is you don't have to use the ramps if you don't want to. I just slid under the truck and put a piece of tygon tubing over the nipple, opened the valve and let it drain in my pan. When I put my new oil filter on, I added 3 small super strong ceramic magnets on the outside of the filter. I have always been intrigued by the Filtermags but not so much I wanted to spend that kind of money on it.

I also rotated the tires and set the pressures. Tomorrow, the rear Bilsteins go on.

I didn't feel like paying $80 for a foam cannon from Chemical Guys so I decided to buy one off of Amazon for $16 with Prime and it works good just need to buy a better soap to give me more suds.

cheaper foam cannons wont give you the suds that Chemical guys does. I agree that Chemical Guys cannon is overpriced but it works

Got the rear Bilsteins on this morning. WAAYYY harder than it should have been. Apparently someone went around and tighted the upper shock mounts so tight that I had to pry the shocks out after I took the bolts out. Then I had to devise a way to open that upper mounting bracket so I could fit the new shocks. Glad that is done. Took about an hour and half on the first one, then about 20 minutes on the next one. I forgot to add, yesterday I greased the tie rod ends and upper ball joints.

Removed the spring from the light switch. No more auto on.

Does it just "click" over like the other settings? No slop or play or anything?

I need to do this. I turn the lights off every afternoon when I get in to come home.

Yes. Gives it four positions.

Fairly simple mod, took me about 15 minutes.

Actually it was a $15 dollar lightning deal on Amazon so I wasn't expecting much but it's all brass and works great so... It does look like a considerable amount of bird droppings though doesn't it! Ha
