Swapped out the PlastiDip grille for a real black one. Now to figure out what to do with the headlights.417e8af42659ca4b50d2f32c218576e9.jpg

Highly recommend the Razor headlight trim. It will match your glossy black trim. I love mine. Link to it on my build thread.

Installed a Street Guardian Dashcam SG9665GC v3 and Hardwired it the way I think GM would have done it if it came from factory.

thanks for another great install video. Now I'm assuming the smudge in the dashcam footage is on your windshield or is it on the lens itself? Just caught my eye and am curious to hear what exactly it is.

Smudge on the lens [emoji19]. I had several people asking for a video and I rushed to get it uploaded.

I haven't added pictures in a while, here she is:

I'm looking for some info on swapping out hoods with a hood that has a air scoop like on a 2500? Anyone have any idea if it is a direct swap or how I can find out?

you just taped everything up and painted in place? Really doesn't look too bad IMO!

Honestly didn’t think it looked too bad either.

Is film better than spray can for this?

I’m looking at doing the same once I paint match.

Yep just sprayed. It took about 5 min to tape and maybe 30 seconds to spray. Both this and tint film are reversible so it doesn't matter. Also they both have a perfect factory reflection you would expect. No plastydip look if you will.

Also after driving last night and this morning you can perfectly see the blinker when it's on. So I guess I'll keep the look for now with your feedback above and the compliment this morning getting coffee haha.

That's the problem. I agree the fogs stick out bright when everything is off. But how do i go light? Maybe I can order a very light tint film, maybe 50% or so

Did you end up redoing it?

Let me know what route you end up going.
