Hi Just bought a 2014 Silverado yesterday. I really like your new tailgate logo. Wondering where you got it?

Thank You Andy

Go it from Amazon.

Same for the front bowtie as well.

it's all about technique. You don't need any tools or adhesive removers just do it like this and you'll be left with a clean surface. People are over complicating it, its pretty simple.

I've used this method to remove the stickers on my bike before and they are similar to the Z71 and others on the fenders.

I like mine naked! That rear bowtie had some serious adhesive on it. It was a good 1/8" thick. Mine also came with a $100 worth of useless pin striping that was an extra agrevation to remove.

Anyone have a set of the chrome door molding off a double cab they to of they'd sell? Do you think you could apply new 3m to them?

I just got a new 2014 Silverado. I am thinking about taking the bowtie emblem off the tailgate to make it more clean like my 2012 Sierra. Has anyone already done this and are there any locator holes or anything else under the bowtie that would make it not worth removing?

also would like to know.... took the one off my 2010 as i think they are just too big for the tailgate. i've debated taking this one off my 2014 as well but haven't gotten around to it yet...

There are no holes in the 2010 on the 2014 not sure but seriously doubt it, I used a guitar string to saw it off and then used a 3M eraser wheel to get the remainder of the tape off.

No holes.

Took mine off with fishing string after warming it up with a blow dryer.

Most of the adhesive came off with the emblem - the rest just peeled off pretty easily.
