2015 towing mirrors

Will not fit your truck. Those are for K2 which are 2014 and up 1500 and 2015 and up HD trucks. Different mirror mount base becuase the doors are different between the two style trucks. You need tow mirrors for the 2007-2014 HD body style which is the style truck you have. GM sells those mirrors in a kit. You need part # 19243900. It comes with two mirrors and a mirror switch which must be replaced and possibly programmed to the truck. Hopefully you can toss those ones you ordered on eBay or this site.

Besides cost is there any difference between the #19243900 kit ($478) and buying these separately? 20862098 ($270 left mirror assy) & 20862099 ($316 right mirror assy).

You don't get the mirror switch which gets replaced because the kit comes with a new switch I believe to eliminate the power fold button.

Update: The GM kits that are coming are the new style mirrors, with the spot lights, the LED markers, and either chrome or black.

I really hope they can get everything ( lights, LEDs, etc.) plug and play for us folks with the early 2015's. I appreciate the update regardless!!

So got more info. Kits started shipping. I got one in today (I get to be the guinea pig as I want these mirrors bad lol).

Kit is two mirrors and a BCM calibration authorization code. You still need door harnesses to add these mirrors in BUT, the harness the truck was built with gets upgraded to a 2015 harness (AVF harness on HD). There is also a jumper harness that has to be ordered to make the lights function and 2014 (all) and 2015 HD before AVF) get a BCM calibration to make it all work. The jumper harness is NOT available yet.

What's the part number for the new kit? 19243900 seems to be for the older style mirrors. If they really are not $1000 I'm pulling the trigger.

Black are 23372182 at $625. Chrome are 23372181 at $725. Remember, depending on the build of the truck, you still may have to change the door wiring, may have to add this jumper harness and may have to flash the BCM. Put those in the picture and it will near or break $1000.

Thanks! As of now, this is only available from GM, isn't it?

The price tag is hefty but doable, if it works fully. I just didn't want to spend $1000 and then add on wiring and flashing

Yep from looking at the instruction set it is a fully working retrofit on 2014-2016 trucks.

Just to clarify a bit more. If you buy these individually (not in the kit) or already have them in but not via the kit, then you won't have the calibration auth. codes to have the dealer change the BCM.

I ordered the black non power fold. Not sure if the chrome are power fold or not as I can't find any description yet as to if it is or isn't. I would assume it is but...I may be wrong.

One thing that is also good to remember is that these mirrors are not auto dimming. So if you have a fully featured regular mirror that auto dims, (driver side) you'll lose that feature.

I particularly don't care, but some might.

Also, I went to my dealer today to try and order and they wouldn't let me because they said "there is no inventory" yet. I'll give it a few weeks.

Hey guys. Probably picking up a new 2015 2500 LTZ with 6.0L tomorrow. Has everything I want except towing mirrors. Since this is new and if I get the kit 23372181 Chrome, will I still need the jumper kit?
