When I bought mine in 2014 they were still around, common but not plentiful. Most dealerships had maybe 3-5 out of 50-70 trucks. Finding specific colour/option configurations was tricky.

It took me probably a year and a half of searching online to find my truck, but I had a very specific list of options I was looking for.

Got her end of 2017 for Christmas.... my 2018 Silverado black edition. I got pretty lucky with mine. Flex fuel, leather seats and spray in bed liner from the dealer. Ran a 14.5, got her down to a 13.5

Looks awesome! Blacked out is probably my favourite look of the 16-19s. I didn't even know factory leather was an option with the 2 doors.

All in the negotiation. 

I am still running the tires it came with on the factory 20s. For the track I run 17s. Nittos in the front and M&H drag radial in the back. Works decent, best 60ft so far is a 1.8XX. Still on the factory converter.

It's an old picture from last summer. 

 

Truck now has 2" level, no "no club", 35 %full shield and 5 windows and brow, unfortunately on ugly stock rims with snow tires. Next is custom black leather interior.

It was sunny out, so I pulled it out and let it run while I did some rearranging in the garage.

Just installed the Falcon Leveling Suspension System, 1" CST top hat spacer lift, 2.85" total front lift, Custom .75" Front Differential Drop, Camburg Uniball Upper Control Arms. Definitely need some more meat on my Method wheels, might tried to squeeze 315/70R17 but probably just run 33x12.5 for more functional clearance.
