Hey everyone, I'm new to this whole forum thing, but I have a delima with a new wheel selection and praying someone can help....

I have a 2105 Silverado crew cab 4x4, that I am about to add a 3.5" leveling kit in the front and 3" blocks to the rear... I am looking for wheels but I thought I had this whole offset thing figured out and now I am second guessing.... I don't want to spend all the money on the wheels and tires, and then not accomplish the look I am going for.

I was going to get 17x9 with a -12mm offset to get the wheel moved out to be flush or just a little outside the wheel well but hear about rubbing issues... I need a little more ground clearance but dont want to go as far as a 6" lift till I am closer to the 100,000 mark cuz of warranty... but would like to keep the wheels for the big lift....

does anyone have any picks of this set up? and what tire size? was going to run a 285/70-17... any help and pics would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!

I ran that kit briefly. Hit to hard on bumps for my liking, switched to a 4" lift instead. I'm running -12 offset, but 20's. Minor rubbing of the carpet (wheel liner) at full lock with 305/55/20

thank you! eventually I want to go to a 6" or more...

that is the size I would like to run! but I'm afarid they will be to much with only a 3.5 leveling kit... do you think I could get away with a 285/65-17 on a 17x9 -12mm?

Thanks ntxhunter65 appreciate the info! gonna try the -12mm, from the pics I can find online they look like they will look pretty good.

Just FYI...17x9 should be what the stock rims are, they shouldnt stick out any more than whatever the truck came with bro. 17x10 would though, that would add a little offset.

Seansharley do you happen to have pics of your set up? I'm thinking of going with 20x10 fuels with -12 offset but I really dot want to run flares so I'm wondering how much a -12 sticks out past the fender.
