Anybody feel ripped off over all terrain tires?

Got some good news yesterday, got a call from my salesman at my dealer. He said GM contacted them about the Goodyear tires not being A/T tires and they are going to replace them....I was actually surprised.

Got a call from GM today as well saying they will replace the Goodyears.....Don't know who is picking up the tab but I am happy at this point although I have no idea what kind of tires they will be, assume they might be the Duellers.

Let us know what tires you end up with. Do you have the 20" or 18"?

I bought mine off the lot and it has "22" rims with All Terrain Tires" which were $2,900.

They are Bridgestone Dueler A/T RH-S -are these a rip off?

I'm actually more interested in how they do in the snow , since we average over 120" most winters.

Those look pretty grippy - they have your truck hanging upside down!

But seriously, those Bridgestone AT tires are a good AT tire IMHO. I don't know about snow performance though.

When I could park on the garage ceiling, that's what made me think they have enough grip LOL ...for some reason, when I email a picture from my iphone to my AOL and save it -they sometimes come out upside down and I'm not sure why???

What gives General Motors the right to call Goodyear's Wrangler SR-A an All Terrain tire when Goodyear has classified as an All Season? We're dishing out some serious money for these trucks and they are deceiving us.. Maybe I should say LYING!

If i'm paying for All Terrain tires as per the build sheet I expect to get All Terrain tires.

Goodyear, thats who

Had a 2015 sierra 4wd Z71 that came with the Goodyear Wrangler SR-A -- all season/all terrain

Current 2016 sierra 4wd (but not Z71) came with Goodyear Eagle LS-2 -- all season/sport performance

FWIW, the wranglers are clearly a more open tread design than the eagles, but they will never be mistaken for a MT or MS style of tire. (which seems to be the level of aggressiveness that some are looking for)

There great in the snow, if I had a complaint after 6 years I'd say they can grab stones, so make sure u got mudflaps on

They're on my Christmas list LOL ... so I should have them on soon -thanks!

Keep in mind the SRAs are a good tire. Not junk at all. They are just not a winter tire. They are only an all-season.

SRA's are junk, with any moisture you don't know if they are going to grip or not

My 14 Silverado lt z71 came with the (18"? I think) wheels with the bridgestone duelers on them. I can't tell if they're tanking my fuel economy though as I've been averaging 13-14 in the city.

I have been down mudddy roads several times and the SRAs did better then I thought they would do but still not a all terrain tire

I have the Continentals on mine-any better? And BTW they no longer seem to be advertising them as "all terrain". at least these weren't.....
