That's awesome. I was going to do the intelihaul system because I have the tow mirrors. Does anyone offer the same mirror cameras as the intelihaul ones?

Does the module generate the extra HDMI icons etc. or does that require more HMI programming?

When will this be available to purchase?

I'd have to dig to see if anyone else is replicating the cameras molded into the tow mirrors. To my knowledge there is currently nothing else out there, but it will come eventually i'm sure.

This setup is nice because it gives options for adding cameras without doing the tow mirrors.

I am working on another final outcome video as we speak. Shows after we made the final camera adjustments...I'll have it ready to post up by weekend at the latest. Hopefully sooner.

I did encounter some software bugs, which we are working on tomorrow...so as soon as I'm confident that the new software will clear things up, we'll be ready to launch it.

I'll keep you posted

Here's the new video after we made adjustments to the cameras:

I've also got a webpage created with info and pricing on it. I'm sure I will be adding to it as we continue to develop more. I will be looking for 2-3 people to purchase at a discount and do some testing and reviews for me....so if you have interest TEXT me.

Also; probably should have a new thread started for this topic so the CarPlay/Android Auto doesn't get even more confusing...LOL

If anyone would like to help start that...feel free!!

Installed the 2016 modules to add android auto from MVI this weekend. install is super simple and takes about 20 minutes if you have the right tools. Anthony's installation video on youtube is spot on. Works perfectly, the HD radio is a nice added feature as well. Anthony was great to deal with and I had the parts in my hands and ready for install in 5 days from placing my order. The only issue people will want to be aware of is that the volume and track controls on the steering wheel do not work while in Android Auto the end phone call button still functions as a mute button and works properly, not sure about car play, they function normally while in the factory intelilink. Anthony said this can be corrected by installing a 2016 instrument cluster. The Denali cluster is really the only thing I wanted in the Denali package that I couldn't get on the SLT in the first place, so probably going down that road next. All in all it was a great experience dealing with MVI and if you're thinking about doing the upgrade you wont be disappointed.

He's right, adding a 2016 cluster will fix those issues. I did the testing for him on this and can confirm it works. Here are my two videos showing that the rocker buttons and long pressing steering wheel button now accesses Siri and Google now.

Not sure if most people are aware of this, But you can access google voice command while in android auto without pushing the microphone button on the screen or the steering wheel button by just saying "Ok Google" Android auto is always monitoring your voice looking for this command, After you say "Ok Google" you can tell it to do whatever you want or ask it questions like how far away is this? Or what is traffic like on the way home as long as you have your home address and work address marked in Google maps. Working volume and track buttons will be nice though. Looks like I'll have to hit up Anthony soon and get a 2016 denali cluster on it's way.

So now the important question...how does one get one of these clusters? It looks like you have the same or similar truck I do, which is a 2015 Sierra 1500 SLT. I see 2016 clusters for sale on various parts pages, do I need to replace the entire instrument cluster panel and get it programmed for my vehicle from an aftermarket vendor? If so, do you mind sharing the part number you ordered and who did the programming?

I love my modules I got from MVI, I'm just dying for steering wheel controls. I'd appreciate any leads you can share.

Mine is a SLE 2015. Anthony just asked for my VIN and mileage and shipped the cluster to me. So I'm sure it was programmed. But he'll have to chime in on the details.

Hey guys...sorry for the delay getting in here. To answer the question a little further, yes we need to replace the whole cluster. I would not recommend just running out and buying one as they are a pain to get the correct one for your truck. There are lots of variables to these believe it or not. They also need to be new. Then..yes we will program it ahead of shipping. Takes lots of programming in fact. This is 100% custom and takes quite a while to do to ensure it's done right. Typically want to stay away from used clusters, although it can be done. However it will add an additional $175.00 on top of the normal pricing, due to the extra work involved in wiping out all the preexusting vehicle info. I can tell you that you will need to budget around $850.00 for this upgrade on the new side of things. If you want to source your own cluster you'll want to plan on $550.00 in programming costs. This is a very extensive process that if not done correctly will cause issues with both the truck and the dealer trying to service your truck. Western Silverado..I'll shoot you a TEXT back today to get yours going, just been busy tying up some little loose ends last couple days.

We have the factory overhead screen upgrade complete for anyone interested in adding on. Pretty much rounds off the factory video system upgrade. I'll be working on the wireless video streaming next

As usual...feel free to TEXT if you have any interest

I have a 2015 silverado that plays videos of a USB that I saved MP4 videos, will this work with this or do I have to have the DVD player on my current truck. Again my truck doesn't not play dvds. Also I already have the OEM DVD overhead player, will you sell the harness by itself?
