Difference in 2017 SLT & Denali Headlights

Does anyone know the difference between the SLT & Denali headlights? I was looking around online at a DRL harness that will not turn off the DRL when your signal is on, and they had two different versions of the headlights.

Thanks

Not correct. SLE is HID, SLT/Denali both have LED. Denali has Intellibeam and is optional on SLT.

Sorry, but the 2017 Order Guide shows that 15HDriver was correct.

T4F is standard on all non-Denali trims:
The T4L LED's are only available on the SLT (and are std on 1500 Denali)
T4F Headlamps, high intensity discharge (HID) projector-beam with LED signature S S S
T4L Headlamps, high-performance LED headlamps with GMC signature LED lighting
On SLT - Included and only available with (PDT) SLT Crew Cab Premium Plus Package, (PDG) All Terrain SLT Premium Package and (STF) All Terrain X Package.
T4L LED's are standard on 1500 Denali
All 25/3500 including Denali get HID's - perhaps because they don't have the new headlight style the 1500's have.
Headlights are on the exterior tab:

So I have an SLT with the Premium plus package and intellibeam headlights, does that mean I have the same headlights as a denali? or where can I find that T4F code on my truck?

On my 2016 the LED signature lights were a $500 option. So if I didn't have that I'm sure they were not LEDs.

Do you have a 17 or the 14 as pictured in your details? The lights were totally different on the 14-15 trucks. The TF4 code should be on the SPID label in the top glovebox.

25/35 don't have the new lights. I guess I was referring to the SLT with LED turns that all have LED headlights. SLT's with HID aren't common. The HID's headlamps have halogen turns.

Both of them are sort of right. 2016 SLT with the premium plus option get the LED headlights, the intellibeam is optional on those trucks where it is standard on the Denalli. I have a 2016 Sierra All Terrain crew cab with the AT plus package and mine has the LED headlights but I did not opt for the intellibeam option as I don't care to have the high beams controlled by the computer.

To be honest, with how bright these LED headlights are I rarely even use the high beams.

I have a 2017 just haven't changed my avatar thingy. Just looked in the glovebox and looks like I have the T4F code. I wish I could see the difference between T4F and T4L side by side for curiosity

On the intellibeams..I was skeptical and couldn't have cared less about them until I experienced how well they work. I'm actually surprised how quickly they respond, quicker than I can for sure and have had no instances (so far) where they should have either switched off or on but didn't. Very pleasantly surprised. The only negative is they will only operate with the fogs switched off for some reason.

I have the '16 HID's and couldn't be more happy with them. They produce a pure bright white light. Not sure how they compare to the LED headlight bulbs but I know HID's are superior for headlights. As mentioned above, I rarely use the high beams. The projector is new for '16 and the light output is so much better than my '14 Sierra was.

Didn't the 14 Sierra have such poor headlights that people thought it was a safety concern?

HID are much better than Halogen but LED are even better than HID.
