Truly - I wonder if most ordered trucks are not one of a kind - but check out the Silver Ice rig - truly is the bomb:

Thanks for the kind words... but this is about your new truck... would like to see your reaction when you first set your eyes on it when it arrives..

You may want to look at the Husky liners... My wife got me a set of WeatherTech's for the front, but they don't seem like quality is there. The edges bend inward, the rubber coating is peeling off... I'm really not all that impressed with them.

I got a rear Husky liner, and it covers the entire floor in the rear. (Floor space for rear passenger feet, plus under the seat.) It's heavy, well molded, and stays in place. I'll most likely replace the front mats with Husky as well, as I've read good reviews on them here on the forum.

Link to full rear mat for crew cabs:

Good luck with whatever you decide to do...

Mark

Edit: looks like I'm late to the party and you already got the WeatherTech. Hope they work out for ya!

I see Husky are made in America too. So are the Husky floor liners more like a heavy rubber like a mat - yet formed fitting like a liner? I watched the Husky video and seems just like weather-Tech.

This will be my 3rd set of Weather-Tech's - I do like how they are pretty light to take out and clean. But I am seeing some edge curling in the 2015 Outback..... Was thinking a warm day or a little heat will put them back in shape........

Should have ordered THE BOMB

Looking for a 17 2500 to arrive in April. Should be in production on the 13th of March

Under the hood should be a bit more congested than THE BOMB

Husky liner are awesome, I have them in both my rigs. They are wearing great after 3 years having been in 2 different trucks.

I compared the factory liners to the Weather Tech liners and I believe that the factory liners are superior to the Weather Tech units or anything else out there on the market...so that's what I bought. I'm really pleased with these floor liners.

Also, I had my 2017 6.2 Max Trailering Pkg SLT built to order and I'd highly recommend that to anyone who can't find exactly what they want. I've owned for a little over a month now and I absolutely love it. I've only towed my trailer once, but it does a great job so far. I had a 2000 K2500 Yukon XL that I also ordered from the factory and there is a world of improvement since 2000. I'll tow my trailer a bit more this week. My 1991 Airstream weighs 9,100 loaded and the Sierra does a masterful job solo or towing!

The picture of the truck is a fairly decent photo. However, the one that I took on Friday of the truck towing the trailer was hastily taken, but it's the only photo that I have so far of the combination.

CCSB to boot - Thanks for the action shot - That's a good long load to pull! Have you scaled the tongue weight?

Yea I would look at Husky liners 2nd, but OEM last due to no coverage under the go pedal. Weather-Tech liners already waiting for the new rig to arrive - any day now with luck!

You're welcome. The current tongue weight is just under 1,100 pounds fully loaded for travel. Even though I added a generator on the front, the trailer has a lot of length aft of the axles and much of the storage is aft of the axles. The grey, black and fresh water tanks are also aft of the center axle and the batteries are over the axles.

BTW, the weight distributing hitch has had its tongue weight upped by 50 pounds (1,200 to 1,250) per an addendum/revision page inserted into the owner's manual.

You're really going to like your truck once it arrives! I look forward to seeing the pictures!

Congrats! I know you've been anxious as heck for it to arrive. Now just tell them not to wash it and screw up the paint. I've done that with all my new ones except for my '17. There were swirls in the paint but I got them out the next day.

Good luck with the new rig!

Trade those GoodYear LS2's in on a set of Michelin defenders.

Quieter, smoother, no cold flat spots and prob twice the tire life :)

Congrats on the ride. Stinks the rebates went down though. I'm in the same boat. Ordered in Feb with $1000 rebate and now it's $500. They say it's supposed to come in on 3-27. If now who knows what April has in store.

Been busy driving and learning about the new rig today - took delivery at 10:00am - man this rig is spoiling me - love everything about it so far. Couple small things could be different - fuel fill door should lock - garage door openers should not work without key in ignition.

Rebates will be better when yours arrives next month with luck - But yea GMC crew cab rebates are weak this month. Guess I am glad I ordered a Silverado - :chevy:

Here's what I signed for today totaling $3,500 off and 0% for 60............ On top of supplier pricing.......

$2,000 - Chevrolet Down Payment Assistance Program.

Plus $1,500 - Chevrolet National Purchase Bonus Cash.

Plus 0% for 60 months.

Plan to put some miles on her tomorrow - will post up pics when I get a chance!
