New member, new truck- Long time Rado owner

hey guys, new to the forum. Got a 17 Rado, LTZ and it has the entertainment package. I keep seeing all these videos using a USB flash drive to watch movies, but cannot seem to get them formatted correctly. Does anyone have any insight on this with the new 17 models?

From what I understand, they took that feature away on the 2017, you can no longer watch videos off the USB drive. That's my understanding anyways.

Well that wasn't the answer I was hoping for haha. So nobody else has cracked this? There has to be a work around.

Look around the audio section of the forum, there are a couple threads on workarounds, mostly upgrading/hacking the HMI.

trying to bring this back to life- Still no luck getting movies to play via USB ports. I did however run an HDMI to iphon lightning which essentially mirrors the phones screen, but also reduces the size down.

Great option for kids to watch their youtube/netflix etc, but still not what I wanted.
