Fender Flares

Chrome or fiber? or stock paint and some pin stripping? or just what????? To much thinking, my head hurts. But Flares do help and look good!

I am pretty sure the flaps you are referring too are more designed for help on MPG's rather than mud and road debris...at least that is what the dealer told me when I asked about them...

More lift? cuts the air to get 40MPG? Hmmmm well it could be, but i dont have all the answers, just more questions! haha

Not sure how active this thread still is, but I got EGR fender flares for my 2014 Sierra, price was good and they look great

If you decide to go with mudflaps here’s my recommend.

Had these on my ford to stop from throwing mud when early season goose hunting, I will have them on every vehicle I own. Durable as hell. You can get extra wide ones for more coverage.

those look really nice and sturdy, but comparing cost $60-$70 for Weathertechs vs $200 for those...for as much as I need them for, that is a significant difference...

not more lift...diverts the air around the tire (again dealers can be full of it, but that is what the guy said)...it sure as hell isn't a mud flap...

those look really nice and sturdy, but comparing cost $60-$70 for Weathertechs vs $200 for those...for as much as I need them for, that is a significant difference...

Agree it’s a big chunk of change. I had Husky liners before (same size as the WTs) and like the real estate the Duraflap take up especially on the outside of the wheel. Cut down the mud/slush throw quite a bit and stopped all that crap from freezing in the mudflaps overnight.

I forget what truck you have but if you want my Huskyliner flaps for a 14+ Sierra shoot me a PM. I don’t have a use for them anymore. Not trying to make money off them just figured someone else probably has a use for them.

i appreciate it, but i have a silverado, and from what i understand (even though they're the same truck) they wont fit...

Got my flares last night.

Also got the gator back mud flaps with a 1.5” offset. But I’m also going with an offset 12” wheel. So I’ll have it line up.

Will post photos as I get them.
