Are these what you are talking about? If so I can personally recommend them. I've had mine for over 2 years and use them all the time.

The only bad thing about them was that my dealer did the Linex and left the plastic caps in place, so I had to cut that out.  A bit of a PITA, but worth it.

 

I don't haul a whole heck of a lot, but it's already been $100 well spent.  I'd recommend doing all 9 of them, I just about cheaped out, but having them on the cab wall is really handy.

+1 for the bull rings. I love that they retract and they have been strong enough for everything I've used them for.

my only advice is be careful if you have bedliner sprayed over the plastic covers like i did. I had to cut them out. I put a little silicone caulk behind these when i tighened them down.

depends on how much you want to spend.  they'll all do the same thing.

A chev/gmc difference.

 

The sierra's come with 4 standard. (rpo is CTD to add to a chev)

 

I asked about extra's and the sales person I was speaking with reached behind the desk and handed me a box....

 

Not sure what they would cost thru parts/accessories.

 

edit - so I looked it up at GM accessories website -- $100 for a set of 4 (or $55 for 2) of the moveable tie down rings.  (includes warranty for the greater of 12 months or balance of the bumper-to-bumper)

yeah i considered them but not recommended for trucks with bedliners......and as far as is see no one makes a retractable one for the rear stake holes with bumper step....
