Badass. How hard was it popping off the bumper piece?

First one took a little bit of trying to figure out where all of the mounting points were. 3 allen screws on the top and then two under the step pad itself. Then disconnect the sensor thats behind the step . The whole piece is secured in the hole using platic clips so you have to pry those out to.Hard to explain without pictures.

I couldnt figure out another way to get to the bolts though, maybe removing the bumper would work to.

Very nice! Can you see the texture through the vinyl?

Yes slightly. I used VViViD vinyl but I know 3M 1080 is a little thicker but harder to work with but it might hide it better.

Didn’t like the plastic looking trim pieces above and below the sliding back glass so I wrapped them in gloss black vinyl this morning.

How hard was this to do and what tools did you use? I’m  Looking to do the same thing, only in carbon fiber.  Still haven’t decided if I want to use 3M or Vvivid.

You need a sharp knife, heat gun, rubbing alcohol and a squeegee with a felt pad on it so it doesn’t scratch the vinyl.

Look up CKwraps on you tube. He’s pretty good about explaining the process.

How difficult was this?  Online it says you have to remove the grill to install.

No. You do not have to take the grille off.

It's a 3 piece set.

Just make DAM sure you have them pressed together good.

1 peice goes behind the grille. The other 2 front pieces, go ahead and press them together.

Then while holding the back piece behind the grille, snap the front piece( 2 pieces already snapped together) in place thru the back peice.

Thank you sir!  I am seeing them from as high as $70-80 through dealers and around $50-60 on Ebay.  What did you pay?

$68

Thru Ebay from Atlanata, Ga.

Was same day shipping and packages very well.

So, the emblem should feel very tight and snug when done..

Again, just go ahead and snap the front 2 pieces together, them with your weak hand, hold the back piece behind the grille, then with strong hand press the combined 2 front pieces thru the back piece. Press like hell 2!

Gimme a PM if you need to, when you get it.
